We had an amazing stay, beach was only 10/15m walk. We will definitely be going back
Amazing little campsite hidden away from the road! The campsite has so many little hidden places where you can set up and you can choose where you want to stay. The toilets are maybe a bit dated but were absolutely spotless, and there is a lovely little bar/bistro Paddlers Return right next to the site. Porthdafarch beach is a 10 min walk and there are supermarkets within easy reach. If you’re in Holyhead I’d really recommend this campsite!
Stumbled across this site , mal and john were just brilliant. So friendly. Pitched up where we liked. Showers were hot. Will definitely visit again. Thank you
This is the second time my friend Holly and I have used this campsite on Anglesey. Mal the owner is a lovely lady who can't do enough for you, very helpful hard working and likes to keep the site beautiful. Has exactly what you need, clean toilets and showers a sink for the dishes and water taps throughout the site. You can camp as near or as far away from the facilities as you like. A 10 minute walk to Porth Dafarch beach a few minutes drive to Holyhead, there's a big Asda at the bottom of the road a few mins away or a big retail park of you need supplies nearby. The beach is stunning. It's the perfect base for exploring Anglesey. See you again Mal!
Our family loved the weekend camping here. The owner is lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The camping pitches give a real sense of a wild camp up on the hill with wild Gorse and Blackberry hedges. The kids loved driving around the site looking for their ideal spot. The facilities were very clean and well kept. There are standpipes located in various places and convenient shortcut paths cut into the hedges. It’s definitely a place for people who enjoy keeping themselves to themselves and like to listen to nature rather than large groups gassing through the night.
Love this site, it's a special place with bags of character, a true local feel with outcrops of rock and gorse separating camping areas. The owners are great and always very welcoming. Price is very reasonable and the facilities are all you need. The paddlers return pub does good food with a lively atmosphere. All of this 5 mins walk from Porth Dafarch, easily one of the best beaches on the Island.
A fantastic campsite, in a great location and ideal for walking, swimming, kayaking and coasteering. Good facilities and friendly people, very reasonably priced too.
A beautiful camp site. Run by charming owners. The views are stunning and it's magically quiet. You can smell the sea too. It's got a shower block and toilets and the pub is great too. We will definitely come back!
I’ve been coming to this camp site for many years staff are very helpful and friendly it’s rugged very near to a great bay to go sea kayaking highly recommend a stay here and a visit to the bar for great food
Nice peaceful site, with the paddlers pub just seconds away. £10 pppn. Clean basic facilities.
