WOW, what a campsite ! We had a fantastic time at this site. All amenities were spotlessly clean . The site was immaculately maintained with beautiful landscaping between plots . Catherine and Geoff were very welcoming. Our Dog had the BEST time in the dog walking area , the warm dog wash and visiting the sand dunes that were a short walk away from the site. There is so much to love about this site; the herb garden, honesty shop, chippy van, and friendly atmosphere were our particular highlights. We will definitely be returning in 2025. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely site recently. Despite arriving late due to work commitments around 7:30 PM, we found the site easy to locate and enter. Upon our arrival, the owner, Catherine, came to welcome us to our pitch, which made us feel right at home. We chose this site because we were planning to attend a 90s festival located 8 miles away. However, on the day of the event, we found ourselves unable to get a taxi as they were all booked up. Thankfully, the wonderful owner Catherine offered to drive us to the festival and even picked us up afterward. Without her generous and kind offer, we wouldn't have been able to attend. Catherine is truly one of those rare, genuinely kind people who make a difference. Our stay at the site lasted three days, and it was a peaceful and beautiful experience. The surroundings were filled with flowers, trees, and lush greenery, all meticulously cared for. The site also had a nice shop stocked with essentials, perfect for anything we might have forgotten to bring. Overall, our visit was delightful from start to finish. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend this site to others. Thank you, Catherine, for your kindness and hospitality. We wish there were more people like you in the world
My partner Steve and I spent a truly wonderful week at Pen y Llyn touring caravan park. Everything was fabulous. The owners were super friendly and helpful, the grass areas were kept immaculately and the flower borders everywhere were so beautiful and well cared for. Showers and toilets were very clean. The pitches were also incredibly spacious. And we thoroughly enjoyed all the RAF aircraft flying over, that was a real treat! We absolutely loved our holiday staying at this beautiful site, and we look forward to returning.
We have just had 9 nights at this beautiful site. We chose a grass pitch which was huge and fully serviced. The amenities are spotless as are the grounds. Honesty shop is the best we have seen which sells home made goods as well, everything is reasonably priced. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site. Only one complaint and that's we live 5 hours away so can't return often, we will definitely be booking to stay again. Geoff and Catherine should be very proud of their site the hard work they put into it definitely shows.
Just arrived home after our 3rd time here, absolutely beautiful site! Facilities are 5*, immaculately clean! All pitches are fully serviced, we opt for hard standing which quite easily fits caravan, awning and car nicely! A small honesty shop on site, well stocked with all essentials you could need! Within walking distance of RAF Valley, which is a must to go and watch! Catherine and Geoff owners are lovely and keep a beautiful well cared for site! We will be back
Beautiful caravan site. Everywhere is so clean, all looks newly done. The showers are lovely, clean, and you can control the temperature. The pitches are large, and we had a fully serviced pitch. The shop sold some beautiful things. There was a security barrier which gives you confidence that your property is secure. Wonderful campsite and lovely hosts. The site was very quiet too, which we like.
Just want to say what a lovely site made by 2 really nice people. Lisa always there smiling and very helpful. Jeff has built everything himself and what a credit to both showers absolutely spot on hot very clean toilets the same and a additional nice just what you need shop . All in all 10 days of well deserved holiday break in a lovely 5star caravan park . And even a wave off the jets . .. pitches are very good and well kept surroundings. Looking forward to coming again very soon . A wonderful experience well worth a visit.
Absolutely fantastic campsite, probably the best we've ever been on, so clean and well kept, very friendly helpful owners great for taking dogs gladly no children lovely sized pitches and a great base to explore Anglesey. Best bit is it's a stones throw away from RAF Valley and it was great to see the aircraft coming and going, especially the Red Arrows
First visit to Angelsy, the site is beautiful very well kept. Huge, fully serviced pitches, the loo's and showers were probably the best we have ever experienced in 30 years of camping and now caravaning!! Handy shop, and we enjoyed a coffee and croissants on Saturday morning. The proximity to the raf base was not an issue at all, in fact, it was quite exciting seeing the jets, the rest of the time, it was just really peaceful. Lovely safe dog walking area. The robot lawn mower kept our puppy entertained all week!! We liked it so much we are going back in July!!
Immaculate site. Spotless facilities and welcoming staff. Lovely pitches and great for the dog too - he loved it as much as we did and even made use of the dog bath facilities!Service: 5/5
