We used Urbanist Architecture for a major extension renovation project and couldn't be happier with the result. This was our second architect after not achieving the results we wanted with the first. What really stood out for us with Urbanist Architecture is how much they listened to what we wanted and then synthesised that into something that went far beyond our imaginations. They were able to achieve a modern yet warm interior, taking into account light and how we're going to use the space, to produce a functional design that is almost without compromise. Even when the council asked us to make a change, they were able to work around it in a way that produced an equally good result. We're very very happy with our interactions with Urbanist Architecture and can happily say that if we were to do a similar project again in the future, they would be our first choice of architect.
We appointed UA to propose a modern redesign of our home to maximise its potential and improve the light, and to achieve planning permission for the scheme within a conservation area. The team at UA produced a really creative design that was beyond our expectations. We were absolutely delighted with the proposal, which will add a modest extension to transform our home into a better quality light-filled space. UA were a real pleasure to work with, highly professional and responsive, and the design work was completed within the proposed timeline. The documentation and drawings produced for the planning application were of exceptional quality, and we were delighted that the scheme was granted planning approval.
It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Urbanist architects. Nicole Guler was incredibly professional and very friendly. Her advice and comments were spot on. She took on board all my comments and input and was happy to discuss at length my ideas for the project. I believe that using Urbanist Architects made all the difference to securing planning permission. I would heartily recommend Urbanist Architects and will certainly be using them for my future projects.
Urbanist Architects were fantastic all the way through, getting drawings done and making a plan for an application for a retrospective planning application. With Mark and Yuki helping me, my application was successful. They were both very professional and helpful throughout.
What a wonderful company to work with. I was a bit hesitant at first with the distance and preferred always to business face to face. Calm, professional and polite Nicole and Ufuk explained and explained until I understood and completely put your mind at easy. A fantastic organisation! Great staff who do what they promise from beginning to end. My advisor was Mark who was very knowledgeable and passionate on planning matters. He spent considerable time advising me with my own planning application and did not request a penny. Mark is wealth of information in respect of local planning I would highly recommend dealing with Mark for all your future planning needs! I don't normally write reviews but Mark deserves it. The guy is simply a planning genius!
My experience as a client of Urbanist Architecture was extremely positive. From the outset I found the team professional, efficient and responsive. They carefully considered the planning remit and worked to achieve a suitable design liaising with the planning officer and myself. They were very efficient at keeping me informed of all the stages to achieve a successful outcome. I can highly recommend them.
I used Urbanist Architecture to support with the designs of our house which included an extension and changes to the interior. With a brief idea of what I wanted they provided some amazing designs and were always happy to accommodate my requests. Final designs went above and beyond what I had anticipated. :
Ufuk Bahar has been super honest and super generous with advice. He has been exceptionally passionate about helping me get the best from my project. After working with architects who all failed, I can confidently say that Ufuk is an architectural maestro. I can't recommend him highly enough.
