Scenario helped us through the design process and planning application for a 6m extension on our garden flat in London. Having recently completed the project and spent time living in the new space we have found their design to complement the surrounding spaces well. The project did end up costing over 50% more than anticipated however. Pleasant to work with and overall a good experience.
I am a leaseholder in in a block of flats where Scenario did the outline design. The developer then used the plans for the construction without reference to Scenario. It is clear that what was built did not conform to the plans, and as a result we are left with a building with a number of construction defects. As an example, the balconies did not comply with planning regulations. Although we have no contract with Scenario, they provided supplementary plans required by the planning authority to and assisted with the retrospective planning application enabling us to rectify the fault. The plans were provided at short notice, and with a fast turnaround. More importantly, Scenario have provided us with a complete set of plans and documents to enable us to rectify the deficiencies in the building. Again, they did this although we have no contractual relationship with Scenario. Scenario have been extremely professional and helpful. Thank you Scenario.
Fantastic team to work with, creative minds with beautiful designs. We did a big renovation project with them and enjoyed the whole process, from the initial design, site management to the finishing touches. People at Scenario are genuine, honest, competent and great to deal with on a daily basis. Highly recommend working with them. We are very pleased with our new house!
I have had the pleasure in working with Scenario Architect on 2 very different project - one of them is 2 houses in north London and the other is a 3 grade 2 listed buildings conversion into serviced apartments in Reading. In both projects Ran and his team presented extremely high quality of work and deep understanding of challenging planning process. During the works in those properties, Scenario's team was very involved and responsive and addressed all issues in a prompt manner. In short, it was a joy to work wit them and I look forward to the next projects!
We've worked with Scenario Architecture as cost consultants over the past 3 years and have always found them to be creative, collaborative and very professional in their approach. In a world where service levels seem to be dropping, Scenario seem to go over and above with their service. Every member of the team is experienced and capable, which makes the entire process as easy as possible. The photos of the completed projects make us look good too!
Giving a glowing review to Scenario is easy. We’ve been collaborating with them for quite a few years now and so I haven’t just experienced many of their incredible creations but I have also spoken to some very excited clients in that time. They give the opportunity to their clients to be far more ambitious and innovative in their houses than you would normally expect from a UK practice. What you’ll see consistently in their portfolio is an innate understanding of honest materials, curved light and shadows, that result in these open, flowing and tranquil spaces. Even the busiest family households feel like calm temples to light!
Great ideas and vision to help with our substantial improvement of a Victorian terrace. In our experience Scenario's method prioritises the final result. That *may* mean more professional fees or higher quotes from contractors, as they understand the exact requirements. SA were great when our project's costs crept above budget. Putting the final result above short term interest. I aim to update the review later this year, when building work is complete and very excited to see the final result!
Scenario Architecture have created an outstanding design and space that was beyond my expectations. The design was through their unique process of understanding the client’s daily scenarios and collaborating with the client to come up with a unique design. The design process is one of the most memorable parts of the process and they also stretched my existing ideas to help create this unique space. A stress free journey throughout the whole process which Scenario were indispensable by giving advice on many difficult design and build decisions.
We worked with Scenario on the expansion of our studio and despite having a relatively tight turnaround for the whole process, they managed to maximise space and get exactly what we wanted from the new layout. They worked closely with us from design to completion and managed to accommodate everything perfectly, including adapting the build process to all us to continue work during construction. Whenever we had a question they were always on hand and willing to explain, putting us thoroughly at ease. We can highly recommend them for their professionalism, design and technical skills which contributed to the successful completion of our project.
We have been delighted with Scenario Architecture. They saw the true potential of our site straight away where other architects were completely oblivious to it. They came up with very innovative ways to address the numerous obstacles encountered over a lenghty planning process. Crucially after more than a year of hard work they were instrumental in helping us to secure planning consent exactly in line with their initial assessment in terms of scale/squarefootage. A strategic partner we highly recommend to have on your side. We look forward to our next project with Scenario Architecture.
