My daughter loves this amazing, outstanding ofsted school! All the teachers are delightfully kind. Great school for a child age 7-11! The home work levels are not stressful as homework can be at other schools. The P.E is incredible so fun for the children and they also have the lifesaving opportunity to have swimming lessons once a week! This really helps your child learn to swim. They will learn all kinds of strokes and get free time when they work well. I highly recommend this school. It's a very good education. Join when your child can!

I'm writing through my mums account btw. What an amazing school! The teachers are friendly and kind, and pretty much all the teachers I have had have been AMAZING! The school is in a great area of Broadstairs. The school is full of friendly children, an if there are some children who aren't particularly friendly, you can always go to a teacher for help. When i first got to Upton, i was very upset because all my friends had gone to st Peters. I was finding it really hard without them, but after a few weeks of talking to everyone, i had made friends! If you are in the same position as i was, just keep talking to everyone you can, and you WILL find friends. I left Upton this year, and I created a river of tears. The friends you make there will be fantastic ones. The school will always be important to people like me when you leave, but there are some really amazing things that you do when you go there. Don't let ANY of the activities you do at Upton slip away, make the most of them! If you were wondering what kind of things you do, the list could go on forever, but i'll tell you a few. You go to Howlettes, do a HUGE leavers party, go to a museum, do Christmas plays, build rafts in swimming, go on two trips away for a few days. Upton was the best school i ever went to. Also, just a little thank you to Miss Lewis, who was my teacher in year 6. When i went into year 6, i thought it would be all doom and gloom, but in fact, it wasn't. Miss Lewis enlightened everything, whether you were having a bad day or not, she made your day so much better! Thank you Miss Lewis, for everything you did for me and the rest of 6B. It was truly the best years of out lives. But like you say, Upton will be with us 'Every step of the way!'

I loved Upton when I went there and from what I've seen from the occasional visit back, that hasn't changed. Best junior school in the area!!
