Had the Christmas menu. Great service, Staff really friendly. Good food . Prices were reasonable. You can take dogs with you inside. Blankets and cushions available. Casual dress. Country pub. Definitely go back . Car park .
We popped in for lunch todaySaturday. Lovely pub, very pretty. We ordered food for 4 adults and 1 child, ranging from burgers to fishcakes and a child's pizza and all were yummy! The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic visit. Will be visiting again.

Lovely pub tucked out of the way. Very quiet which was strange when I attended on a Saturday night. Went for the Chicken Tandoori Burger.... Wow if you like a curry and burgers this is a thing of beauty. A lovely burger with great flavour, seasoning and garnishes 5/5. Couldn't fault it. Sticky Toffee on the other hand lacked toffee flavour and was bland and was just a basic sponge 2/5.
Went here for lunch today and was very pleasantly surprised. We sat outside on the Patio at the front which was in the sunshine. The table was clean and comfortable. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. The menu was excellent, plenty of variation's all of them appealing plus three different specials main and some additional starters. Deciding what to have was the hardest part. Eventually my sister chose the Chicken Shawarma Salad with warmed Middle Eastern Chicken Breast, Quinoa Tabbouleh, Pickled Red Cabbage, Beetroot and Cumin Hummus, Mint Raita and Flatbread at £15.50 which looked fantastic and she tells me, tasted excellent. She struggled to finish but it tasted too good to leave. I went for the Spicy Chickpea and Nut Burger with Iceberg Lettuce, Tomato and Mayonnaise topped with Onion Marmalade in a Ciabatta Bun plus Fries and House Slaw £15.00. This was a great choice, tasty, filling and very healthy. We had a soda and lime plus a pot of Tea. Total Bill £35.60. A great Pub, great Food, Great Service. Whats not to like. The down side? It's a bit difficult to get to. The lane leading up to the pub is narrow and passing spots are limited. But worth the effort.
Really welcoming, friendly staff, very dog friendly. Food was excellent and the pub is a lovely, rustic pub but with clean and well maintained facilities. We had a wonderful time.

We came out of the blue. Lovely place and nice staff. Dog friendly and the place to big enough to have a few dotted around with no issues. We dnt have a dog, but we appreciate the space from them. We had a round of deserts as a birthday treat. Apple crumble was very tasty and I loved it. Plenty of parking too.
We planned our 3 miles dog walk around our visit to this hidden gem! The food was delicious we can't fault any of it. The table service was really welcoming and made u feel relaxed to enjoy the whole experience. Both staff and owner were lovely offering a professional level of service! Thank you we will be back.
I hadn't been for many years & it was nice to see that the pub hadn't changed that much since my last visit. Although I didn't really notice at the time, I was surprised to later realise that I'd been charged over £10 for a rum & coke & a pint of lime & soda. I appreciate that running costs have escalated over the last few months, but that surely that's over the top....?
