Bliss and quiet, good selection of food on an early morning also drinks and alcohol available before 10am so glass of wine after breakfast and before boarding. Staff very friendly and the place is pristine definitely worth the few quid for a bit of peace and quiet and to avoid the bustle of food courts down stairs. Everything complimentary and view of the planes kept the children happy for a couple of hours <3
A welcome surprise!! I’d been steering clear of the “other” glasgow lounge for years, after several mediocre to bad experiences with this lounge’s previous iterations. However I have to say that the experience of the not so new Upperdeck Lounge was a welcome one. + Big open and spacious + Variety of seating and positions with a view + New, Clean and Very tartan upolstery + The food was great, and snacks and drinks great. + Check in process seamless - Shame the champagne isn’t included… - few vegan options based on morning travel
Very poor now, was handed x4 paper drink vouchers on our arrival. Sat for 20mins at a table covered in crumbs & empty glasses, eventualy had to go and ask a member of staff if they would please clean our table. The seats were all stained with trampled in food & crumbs stuck into the material. Then theres the lack of choice at the bar of any sparkling wine. It was at an extra cost £15 per bottle. However there is red & white wine. Limited choice of spirits on offer so I asked for a lager topps only to be told they dont do cocktails.... Would avoid this place now. Wont be back loads of better lounges around the world that do it so much better. Its feels very cheap to cap drinks & snacks as your only there for a limited time. My advice spend your money in a bar & pay as you go. At least there cleaned regularly.
Hot rolled and bacon with eggs on request. No sausages though which is missing a truck in Glasgow not having square sausage. Staff all really helpful and great views of the runway. Book to avoid the chaos downstairs.
Worst Lounge in Europe. I've visited a couple, this one in terms of food, seating and occupation is the worst. Food wise, there is nothing serious to offer, might aswell eat a sponge. The omlette was a dry burger bun with some eggs inside. The lounge is filled with men drinking beer in huge amounts at 7am in the morning making this a very noisy and stressful expirience. Chairs are dirty and not well maintained. It felt absolutely horrible and I ended up leaving after 10 minutes. Even the entry system isn't very modern, a nice Lady writes down your name and seat before entering it into an excel spread sheet. Seems like anyone can enter...
Amazing view from the lounge and Scottish style. The only thing I missed are more comfortable chairs for taking a nap or resting
Disappointed at the new policy of 4 raffle tickets per visit for alcoholic drinks. Quality of food was average, disappointing.
Nice enough place to get out of the bustle of the airport. Worth paying the £25 price to enter if you like the relative quiet. Breakfasting rolls were a little dry, but a reasonable selection of food and drinks was on hand
The relaxed ambience was great before a long flight. A good choice of snacks and 4 drinks vouchers each were provided. At the time of visit the lounge was £25 per person and we only used 2 vouchers each. Staff were friendly but if your ecpecting a session of drinks then it's limited which is understandable as high altitudes can change the way alcohol affects you. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are unlimited.
Busy place but plenty food and drinks to be had, the staff are run off their feet but really helpful and pleasant. Would be nice to have choice of some hot food but with airport prices for food and drink the overall cost was reasonable. Look forward to booking again.
