I complained to the university that rooms are always booked but empty and someone will come to you saying I booked this 3 hours or whatever earlier but didn't show up because they think it is their own property and can show up whenever they want. I think there should be a policy that if a booking is not used after half an hour from the time of bookings it should be automatically cancelled to give the chance to other students to use them.
Great, but wish it was open 24hrs regularly.
The Library is quite nice and the ambience as well! There is enough seating capacity , books , toilet , water cooler , printer ,desktops to use ,sofa 's to sit and in winter you get a blanket as well ! There is a cafe in the ground floors always found it open during lunch hours .the library have transparent ceiling so you can study in a bit of sunlight and warmth . Overall Awesome ! I am a student at York Uni , my best place to study
Great library, very useful and open 24/7 This includes computer rooms and all so if you need to quickly do an assignment in the middle of the night you can pop in
Very kind and helpful staff with a great airy atmosphere and lots of books to read from with a sizeable study area and a large reference room one of the nicest librarys I've seen
Yes great I just have to notify somebody at the York University first before I go to the university library as I am no student still looks the same to when I came last
