Joined in August-went to one meeting.  It was mayhem.  As a new comer, no one to greet you no one to guide you on how the system on arrival worked and because it was so chaotic with people wanting to sign up for events no one willing to help or speak to you.  I went with three other potential new members, they were passed from one table to the next.  One of the supposed "helpers" was very rude and asked why they were being sent to her table, then picked a leaflet put it against her mouth and whispered to another "helper".  Not at all professional or welcoming.   I had joined because I thought it was advertised as being a very friendly group, would be very social and give me different events to attend. How wrong I was.    I will not be renewing my membership and the three potential new members will not be joining either.

Please be aware that Margaret Stirling's review refers to Arnold U3A, not Nottingham U3A. I have been a member of Nottingham U3A for 8 years and have always been made welcome.
