Very well laid out inside. Great use of an older building. Excellent decorative order. Refectory looks good.
I literally had the best summer school experience at ntu’s summer school course: photography and heritage. Jed and George are the best duo of tutors ever! Thanks for these amazing 2 weeks!
Beautiful building. Great university to continue higher education in the strategic location. Close to many convenient stores.
One of the best uni to attend. The infrastructure and the facilities are great. Professors are really helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. Global lounge is one of the best place to meet new people and make new friends. Really recommend this university. I had an amazing one year studying my course here.
The university was formed by the amalgamation of several institutions of higher education. It originated from the Nottingham Government School of Design founded in 1843.nIn 1945, the Nottingham and District Technical College was established. In 1958, Nottingham Regional College of Technology opened and in 1959, the Nottingham College of Education began at Clifton. In 1964, Nottingham Regional College was opened and in 1966, the original Nottingham College of Design was linked with the Regional College. Together they merged and the institution was upgraded to Polytechnic status in 1970 to become 'Trent Polytechnic'. In 1975 it amalgamated with Nottingham College of Education, and in 1988 the official name changed to 'Nottingham Polytechnic'.
