As an art student and member of the public whose interests and practice is concerned with the natural world and peoples interaction with it, the Dundee Botanic gardens are a tremendous resource in the city of Dundee and deserve to be better used and recognised, I have found all staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

How on earth is this possible in Scotland ? One of the best experiences in years. The layout and variety of species is startling.

Absolutely lovely place, Fabulous view round every corner wonderful selection of plants and well worth a visit. Lots of added sculptures around the grounds too. Very reasonable admission

Very well looked after by University and nestled nicely on hillside near to airport. Gardens extend between residential areas. A perfect spot to wander for a couple of hours looking at the plants, reading the labels and taking some interesting pictures. A little out of City Centre but well worth the effort of travelling to see what's going on.

Fantastic place to enjoy nature without having to grow yourself. The gardens are well maintained and plenty of different sections from around the world.
