Friendly staff very attentive and reassuring, the only drawback is that the outpatient department doesn't open until 9AM and when attending departments near it the walk from the car park to the main entrance is a long distance for disabled people who are parked in the nearby disabled bay's.

Hospital is well sign posted throughout, though there are lots of friendly staff around to help find your way around the hospital if you get lost. The hospital has a café Wilbers Café which sells a wide variety of hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes. Ample hospital parking is available, free for 20 mins otherwise tariffs apply. valid as of September 2018 There is no A&E department.
Stayed a couple of nights following a knee replacement. Best NHS hospital in my area.
Thank you for always looking after me and my son. My son had his surgery here, I was seen here also.nnGreat staff, can’t thank them enough.nnOnly niggle is the car parking, put the wrong digit and got a bill. Wish hospitals would provide staff, patients & visitors with no parking.nnUnderstand it is a revenue for the trust but it should change. Hospital is great and staff, fixed me after an infection and have treated me with the greatest of care. Thank you.
