I never give a 1 star rating except when I've experienced something, truly shocking and this shop was about to get a sale from me and my partner. So I'll explain my experience from the start. I walked into the shop and was approach by an overly enthusiastic sales woman. I noticed there was about six beautiful sales staff in a empty shop and had experienced hard sell tatics in this shop previously. So when she said 'hello' , I said 'do I know you', as it was a flirtish, informal, manner as you would greet a good friend, not a new customer. I carried on into the shop to look for a shirt and the manager listened in on my conversation as i was telling my partner that they use hard sell tactics in this shop and she interrupted me and asked what I was saying so I told her. She said she was only saying hello but I have been there before and it's always been hard sell so after a exchange of words, least of all eaves dropping on my private conversation then being bolshy I decided I didn't want to spend my money in here and I left. The I took photos for Google, in my opinion it's over staffed over priced and it won't be long before its another high street shop to let. These girls should understand customers pay their wages sp be a little real and polite. I'd recommend 'profile' in the swangate for better priced and  independent retail outlet no generic chain there

Brilliant shop with really helpful sales advice. They genuinely care about helping you find a flattering fit for your figure. I also think Kevin’s review below sounds really unfair.

Friendly staff, but I can always get a cheaper price elsewhere for the same product.  John Lewis have a cheaper range of Ted Baker purses right now £68...Union £85!

My self and my partner love this shop. Lovely staff. Not pushy at all , just helpful.
