My stay at Uncle has been pleasant overall. There are a lot of amenities that you can benefit from such as a hosting room, movie room, co-working lounge, bbq area and the gym. The staff is very friendly and quick to respond to any query. The only downside is that the tube station is closed and under renovation until December 2024. However, once it will be up and running, it is a very short walk to the station.
I had a nice stay at Uncle Colindale. The apartment is very new and well-furnished. The building features an incredible coworking space, a nice gym, and a TV room. From time to time, the building hosts events, which is perfect for meeting people from all over the world if you’re interested.nnThe building is very close to the underground station. Although the underground will be closed until December 2024, this isn’t a major inconvenience because there are free bus options to the nearest underground station. Additionally, Uncle provides a van that takes us to the next station during peak times throughout the week.
My stay at the UNCLE Colindale has been great. The staff is very helpful and when I had problems with appliances, they fixed it in a timely manner. The building is well-equipped, and the coworking space and gym are great. Having a parcel room is also very convenient. It is a two-minute walk to the Colindale tube station, and it was easy to travel anywhere from there. Due to renovations, the tube stop is currently closed, but when it reopens, I expect it to be as convenient as it was before.
Terrible place to live.nnLift was broken for months, WiFi charges at least £40/m and it drops out frequently and occasionally doesn't work all day for all the residents in their property. Definitely a bad choice for people who work from home.nnWhen we moved out, we took three days to sanitise and the taps in the bathroom and kitchen were bright enough to be mirrors. They will cite a 1mm diameter spot in the corner of the wall, and water spray on the washing machine door as evidence of compensation.nnIn the end they asked for £290 for cleaning and mattress cleaning to be deducted from the deposit.
Colindale station is closed from June 2024. The waiting time for replacement bus/186 is now about 20-30 minutes, which means you need extra 1.5 hours to take the tube when you commute. Rent at your own risk.nnI spent the most miserable year in this property. I had horrible allergic reaction when I stay in the flat. Now I have moved out of Uncle Colindale and stay in the new flat I'm totally fine.
