Not a bad sushi place, a good quality fish and well cooked/prepared, arrived on time, while it was good, it did feel a tad expensive given the size of the portion: Chilli Squid - 5/5 Tonkotsu Original -5/5 Sushi & Sashimi Bento 5/5 Spicy Crunchy Yellow Tail Roll - 3/5
Food was delivered piping hot and the Salmon bento was a nice selection, and a filling portion. Perhaps the fish could have been a tad crisper and the Teriyaki sauce a bit darker and richer, but pretty decent overall. Wish them well in their new location.
This would be 5 stars because the food is just SO GOOD!!! We love the food! Ordering to pick up from this restaurant is not a good experience though sadly. We are regulars and each time we order we arrive for the pick up time or even after the pick up time because they always make us wait to find that our order hasn’t even started to be be made yet. We then have to wait a further 20 - 30 mins in the car park for the food. This isn’t very respectful of the customers time. An accurate time slot would be better - even if the wait time is 1 hour. Because it’s usually rushed, the special requests are often ignored. The Uber eats / deliveroo orders are prioritised and it shows. Also, there’s so much single use plastic in each order. It would be great if there were compostable / recyclable options.
The service was friendly but their facemasks where down all the time and not covering their mouths and nose, they are not following the covid measures. The food was below the average, not impressed by this place. The salmon sashimi didn't taste like sushi grade salmon at all, tasted fishy, not fresh, the slices where small compared to other sushi places from the area. The salmon avocado rolls where fine but nothing special, same with the ramen. At least I loved the mochis. Very sad, I think they changed management recently.
We picked up bento boxes and maki rolls from Umami. Service was friendly though we did have to wait a little while for the order about 10 minutes as it wasn’t quite ready. That was okay since then we knew the food was prepared freshly. There was plenty of food and it was all very fresh and tasty. We loved the teriyaki chicken flavour and the crispy Kara age. Lots of variety in the bento boxes. Good quantity of food as well and we were stuffed! The only thing I didn’t feel comfortable about was that the workers had their masks down while preparing the food. The masks were not not covering their noses and mouths and l would have preferred more caution during the pandemic.
Interesting little restaurant - nice and cozy inside - as you are crossing the bridge from West Ealing heading towards Ealing main road. Have a wide variety of Japanese foods. Had a katsu udon. Nice food - a bit on the pricier side.
The takoyaki was superb. Tempura was sublime. And they have Chicken Karaage Curry! Woot! Great service, reasonable prices, and easily accessible location right in front of West Ealing Station. No complaints whatsoever, I do wish they served katsudon/gyudon too. Definitely coming back.
Outstanding sushi and lovely staff! Really delicious, authentic and great quality fish. Can't wait to go back!
Friendly staffs. Tasty Tonkotsu. Unlike many other places, the broth is not too salty which is very good. Noodle texture was perfect. A lot more meat than other places. Recommended.
Amazing Ramen for the locality, have tried Ramen from Wagamama and Hare and Tortoise, and this beats them by far, the Unagi Don was nice too... Best review of this place is that I keep coming back. Also chicken is halal, so I normally have a off menu Chicken Ramen with the veggie broth... Yet to try the bento boxes. Next time! It's a small joint with a few tables, service is friendly.
