Great place for a great day out, weather permitting. I would recommend check the weather before going as most of the museum is outdoors. When you get there you will step back in time to the old days in Ireland. Take as long as you like to walking about the houses. So you can take in as much information as you can. The staff in each of the houses are very friendly and very informative. Eventually you will come to a small town which is the last part of Ireland. Here you will board the ship that take you across the sea to the America. You will arrive in America at a small town, this gives you a chance to see what life would have been like in America in days gone by. From here you will walk around more houses but of a different design to the houses in Ireland, as your now walking back in time in America. The whole tour is self guided and can take as long as you require I would say approximately 2 hours +. At the main arrivals building there is a souvenir shop and also a restaurant, but if the weather is good why not bring a packed lunch.

I went with 4 of my Grand children and we had a wonderful experience. The guides were excellent, couldn't phrase them enough. Our Grandkids loved them all. The exhibition really surprised me, it was the best I've ever visited, the inside and outside exhibits were excellent. Great value for the money, defiantly worth another visit next Summer

This is a group of buildings (some of which are original) with costumed guides telling the stories of Irish emigrants settling in America. The exhibition center has a lot of reading but is very interesting. There's also a Titanic exhibit. There are buildings and streets from both Ireland and America. The costume guides do demonstrations and explain the buildings and stories of the people that lived in them. This is fantastic value at £9 per adult. There are also very good rate family tickets
