Turned up out of the blue back of beyond with request for an instant fitted new tyre due to puncture by nail in remote Kylestrome following three day walking trip to magical Glencoul bothy. Friendly, helpful staff sorted us out in a jiffy with a smile and great value for money service despite us faffing about trying to locate the VITAL locking wheel nut which had somehow rolled away from the car as we searched for it like a frantic pair of delirious buffoons....the calming influence of the RESIDENT SHINY BLACK DOG surely played a part in the eventual smooth tyre change operation. Thanks again Ullapoolians of Lochbroom. You saved the day. Especially that tall, sleek, deep bitumen-smooth voiced young mechanic, a natural voice-over actor if ever I heard one. We were able to zoom on down to a haze-veiled Inverness for Morrison's wedges and mozzarella sticks before rocking on through the night with Panthera and a Zydeco mix to the steep streets of Sheffield. A relatively cheap tyre, an inestimable experience.
It took hours to sort my friends campervan when the top boss sorted it out in half an hour
