We have stayed several times before without even a hint of disappointment. If you're booking a family room with any third party platform, the hotel's policy is completely different (well, it was on this visit for some reason). Two of the evening meals were on par with a glass of water as far as taste went. Surprising as this is far from previous experiences. The carpets on our floor were covered by a plastic covering, resembling setting out of a murder scene. All of the above could have been passed off as a culmination of unfortunate one off lapses. The response from the hotel was disappointing, trying to dismiss and justify.

All in all, my friend and I had an enjoyable morning at the spa. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I've been to this spa a few years ago and it was spotless. However I was left a little disappointed as it now looks as though it is in of a little TLC. The head rests in the large spa pool were loose and would pop off when the bubbles started. Also the chemicals were on the strong side in both Jacuzzis. Made our eyes sting and my skin still has a faint smell of bleach even after two showers. Also the showers in the changing room had no ceiling. You could see up to the pipework/wiring Etc. and the ceiling tiles that were present had mould on them. Also the push button for the water lasted approximately 20 seconds. I lost count of the times I had to press it - made washing my hair a very laborious task. After the spa we went to the bar for lunch. This also looks as though it could do with a makeover as it's looking dated. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and looks amazing - they just need to do the rest of the bar/reception area. On the bright side, the food was lovely and was served promptly.

My friend and I came for a Twilight Spa last night. There were a lot of complex transactions with vouchers, but the lady on the desk couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We had a fantastic time - very good facilities.

Been to two great weddings here.. They also have an excellent health club and Spa!..

Room was nice however pool was shut and access to spa was extra for fairly limited facilities. Breakfast buffet was fine and staff helpful.
