Multi billionaire company but Parking absolutely ridiculous for only 7-8 car small bays . Drive around for 20-30 minutes to wait for a free space. HOT SPOT AREA FOR TICKET WARDENS! Pre-book appointment system in place but people still turn up, jump the ques with no appointment. Only 1 office for all Manchester & greater Manchester drivers? Countless trips back and fourth to greenlight hub because of lack of information and poor customer service. Huge 25% commission service fee.. from the local councils to the firms & companys associated… No professionalism. The list goes on. Taxi/Private hire industry is a complete joke. Any New drivers all the best to paying your financed vehicles and filling up your tanks, insurance, maintenance, road traffic & fines. Then deal with your customer attitudes in between your 15hour shifts.
Why are you out of uber stickers ? We are ready to work but you dont have stickers for our taxis ? Thats very unprofessional inefficient and disappointing. Youve no idea when you will get then either so we just wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. Very disappointed
First time using uber and will definitely use again. We had to take our dog to the groomers and both drivers were willing to take her no questions. Both drivers were so polite and courteous and the app was so easy to use.
Unable to book an appointment on tje uber app, went to the office, had to wait 1.40 hour just to get some information. Sign up process is slow. Once all documents uploaded, they advised it will take another 2 weeks for the account to go live. Unsufficient car park outside the premises. There is a paid car park around the corner. Which was full at the time.
I have worked for uber 1.5 years and was platinum 4.98 ratings. Due to a innocent conversation with a rider I was permanently deactivated. Apparently it was being personal with the rider. This was the second time I had such an accusation which was falsified and exaggerated. Totally unfair. Riders can say what ever they want and its OK. Be careful don't get stung! Uber don't care about drivers.
I'd rate 0 stars if I could. I recently visited Manchester with some friends. I've never had any issues with Uber before in other cities, but we had constant issues with Uber in Manchester. Drivers constantly cancelling even if we pre booked making us late to venues on multiple occaisions. This also resulted in other taxi firms becoming fully booked as less people were using Uber so we were often stuck in the middle of the city centre by ourselves for up to an hour trying to secure a taxi without it being cancelled by the driver. I spoke to a driver who told us that drivers are extremely unhappy with their treatment and pay cuts due to the pandemic which is resulting in them cancelling jobs. He also explained that drivers don't want to have to sit in the traffic. I understand their frustration but this caused so much stress for us during our trip. Sort the issue out Uber!!!!
Top service they made my app ready in a day, very helpful as I did not know much about Uber driver app they uploaded all my documents for me, fixed my errors and I was driving my Uber next day. Thank you for your help.
Ubers do not care for drivers been here 2 years and they black my account because they say I have flagged the flags has happened when Uber apps had played up and accepted jobs I haven’t accepted and No one will talk to you I cannot believe they are able to get away with it when people need jobs the app for drivers is ridiculous uber don’t care about staff

At Uber greenlight hub Manchester, customer service is pathetic. Customer advisors talk so rudely and never guide you properly as they should.
