Have walked many times past here - always busy. Finally had the opportunity to eat here, and so glad we did Friendly service with a smile, and great quality food to boot. There is an extensive menu to suit all tastes, and the fact they serve hot sake is a godsend. If you're looking for a place that serves a filling noodle dish at a reasonable price, then look no further than Tyepyedong.
Third time going here and each time has been brilliant. They offer an extensive menu, all of it well worth the price, as well as a quick and friendly service. This time I had the beef donburi while my friends had the chicken and beef soup. Will definitely be coming back here again.Food: 5/5

Really high standard of cuisine, with a varied and extensive menu on offer. They'll even make a dish to order if you like, mixing parts of other items on the menu. A nice touch is the standard offer to take any unfinished food away, and they bring you a box to pack it up at your table so you know it's definitely your food you're taking away.

Just went in by chance when looking for some dinner. I went for the chicken stir fry with yakisoba noddles and was pleasantly surprised. The flavour was nice and overall tasted like a proper homemade dish, however I did find the chicken a little bit chewy. I did also find the spring rolls a bit lacklustre as they were mostly carrot inside. Overall a good experience and would consider dropping back in.

Found myself in the city centre, at lunchtime on a Sunday, hungry and with a couple of hours to kill. I love most Oriental food and decide to grab some lunch here. I had **spicy garlic chicken with rice** from their set lunch menu they even included a soft drink for £8.90. What absolutely superb food and, despite it being a very generous portion size - I am a big guy with a large appetite - I was full. Fantastic flavours I just didn't want it to end. Lovely attentive staff completed a perfect dining experience. I hope to return soon to try the other menu items! UPDATE: A further visit two months later, just as good. In fact, absolutely excellent again. Spicy garlic chicken thoroughly recommended. Vegetarian options: Looked like plenty of vegetarian options. Wheelchair accessibility: Pavement level restaurant, no steps.
