Great campsite with clean facilities, seaside views and only a short walk to Abersoch. Owner was really friendly and gave advice on where to visit. Would 100% recommend.Rooms: 5/5
For many years this was the place I grew up having my holidays. Countless weekend of immeasurable fun, late nights, adventure. Abersoch, the people and the scenery was beautiful, and what left me absolutely breathless… the sky at night time. Unreal
Stayed here twice, Excellent location, just 20 minutes walk to the village/town, easy to navigate to, fantastic views, the facilities are great too. I saw 3 shooting stars whilst there, quite amazing, the managers were very welcoming, would always return here. Also only 25 minutes from the best beaches in the area imo. Thanks again!Rooms: 5/5
Fantastic place, the hosts are brilliant and the toilet/kitchen facilities are so clean, very helpful and really clean campsite! Coming back again in June
Absolutely my most favourite place to go in Abersoch … ever ! Lina, the site manager, is just a star in fact 5 star Such a lovely decent person and few of those types of people can be found! Please see below a really honest and heart felt review: 1. There have been times where I have popped off in the dark for a late night wee and at past 11pm Lina and Zoltan have been polishing and cleaning the shower & toilet facilities so that in the morning it is like the magic cleaning fairies have been. They take pride in providing a sparking block and for you to feel like you aren’t going to catch something nasty, like so many camp sites! 2. Love it or hate it the camp site is expected to be quiet late at night and Lina will ensure this rule is adhered to by being polite and asking for guests to keep the noise down after 10. I personally think if you’ve come away with your children this is something to be greatly appreciated! After all, if you want to scream and shout and party …. There’s an abundance of bars in town , not to mention a beach where you can whoop it up to your heart’s content ! I love that my kids won’t be disturbed and that there’s respect from all. 3. Speaking of above and beyond, there was one of the times we visited and our caravan ended up stranded with a broken tow bar. Lina could not have been more helpful, she found us an empty pitch to stay for extra nights, along with offering caravan storage and also a caravan service man! In the end, I stayed with the van and worked remotely , whilst my husband and kids had to get home for school and work and to fix the tow bar. Lina and Zoltan made sure I was safe and happy for the week alone and I genuinely had a really lovely impromptu extended break that could have been so lonely and a disaster! 4. We aren’t the only campers who have been in need! There have been times when we have been and the wind has kicked up in the night and tents have not held up and Lina is the first person on site to give out aid and help . Even by providing one family with blow up beds in the disabled block to tide them over until morning ! Somewhere safe and dry until the storm has passed. 5. The views on this site are truly jaw dropping, on top of the hill and a 360 view of everything that Abersoch has to offer! I absolutely love sitting with a glass of wine, high up, looking across the rolling fields and sparkling sea and the two islands poking out. Obviously, Lina isn’t responsible for the view but it’s nice to enjoy it in a lovely well maintained site 6. The sites facilities provide a nice, little, safe play park , fully serviced pitches , sparkling clean toilet and shower block, a lovely off lead dog walking path, a football pitch to be enjoyed by kids, teens and adults alike, and finally a nice snack shack to provide food for when the gas BBQ doesn’t quite cut it Please don’t just take my word for it, go and experience it yourself and enjoy a well run and happy camp site. It’s well worth all the stars and Lina your kindness won’t be forgotten, thank you can’t wait for our next visit soon xx
Sour end to a good stay completely rude management. Edit to your reply to start we did not wake any neighbours at all if we did then surely they would off said something in the morning you are so petty with such little things we respected your campsite on the rules that were given we did not disrespect them what so ever you are full of lies and can't handle that you are bad with management skills or even lacking them as for the burn holes I didn't dig to China if you made clear of the rules to start it wouldn't of happened my apologies.
Camp site is in a great location with fantastic facilities but it's let down by rude management. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lady who stated 'no noise or nonsense' after 10pm which goes without saying for respect of everyone else on the camp so we had no issues there. On the first night there were 4 of us talking inside our tent when the lady member of staff came over and told us 'we must be p*s*ing the neighbours off as we were being too loud' and told us to be quiet. We appreciate tents are not sound proof so apologised if we were talking too loudly. 10 mins later she came back to tell us we would be kicked off the campsite in the morning if we continued talking and told us to whisper'. We were in shock as we were just speaking as if you would to somebody across the table. Feeling like we couldn't possibly communicate any quieter we decided to go to bed. In the morning we approached our only neighbours on the right of our tent and apologised if we were making too much noise in which they responded they didn't hear anything and told us to 'just keep having fun'. No complaints from them and we definitely did not 'p*ss them off' to quote the staff member. If I could give one piece of constructive feedback it would be for this particular staff member to reflect on how they speak to guests and improve on their people/communication skills. You really are letting the campsite down and tarnishing reviews by speaking to guests in a rude and patronising manner. I'm in no doubt however that this feedback will fall on deaf ears judging by the responses to other reviews with similar complaints which seem to deflect the blame on the guests with no accountability from the staff/owners..... so in advance, no response required for this review unless it's an apology for the way in which we were spoken to. Would have been 5* review had it not have been for this member of staff.
This is a wonderful campsite with modern clean facilities. There is a play park and football pitch for the kids. We have been coming here the last four years and it’s such a convenient location. You can walk down into Abersoch. It takes about 15 mins to walk into the village, a little bit longer going back home as it’s up hill. If youre driving it’s an ideal location to stay to explore the Llyn peninsula. The site managers are so friendly and very accommodating. There is a food van at the entrance, so it’s really handy if you want to grab a bite to eat
Just stayed here and what a beautiful spot to chill out and take in the views. Malcolm and Sue are a lovely couple who can't do enough to make sure your stay is fabulous. They have great knowledge of the area and are always available to help out if needed. The facilities are spot less and maintained to a high standard. Would definitely recommend if you just want to chill out. Thanks again for a lovely stay and enjoy your retirement Malcolm and Sue especially the fly fishing
Absolutely outstanding, friendly staff, clean and very well maintained showers/ toilets, level pitches and amazing views over Abersoch. What makes this the site that it is they have no tolerance for stupid inconsiderate people. After all its a family site lets keep it this w way.
