Top place for quiet stay in East Devon

Arranged to have my Dad's 90th birthday lunch there. He is wheelchair bound but the owner made a real effort to welcome him in and help with the access. We had a separate room with a single table for 10. Lovely food, interesting and varied menu. Good service.  Reasonably priced given the quality of food offeted. He had a great day.

Clean room and good food and service. Food could be better but not to say it's not of good quality. Everything is to good standard.

The bar is so nice and the food is amazing, the service is very professional

Interesting to watch the water disappear down the well as is the information board. Area a little run down but there are signs of regeneration.
