I have had a paid-for parking token from Mendip District council for exactly a year. It allows us to park our car in Tucker Street car park as much as we like. But they didn't have the courtesy to send me a reminder but stuck a ticket on the windscreen.So tomorrow I'll have to waste hours on the phone trying to rectify the situation......!
Cheap and good location. Not that many spaces so I should imagine it fills up quickly at peak times. Not that easy to find but it's pretty much everything you could want a car park to be... You can use PayByPhone or cash in the machine.
We paid via the Internet, arrived back at our vehicle 50 mins early & very surprised a parking ticket on our windscreen. We challenged and were informed the traffic warden didn't t have a very good signal . No apology. Fine cancelled.
Good long stay car park. Fills up reasonably quickly on market days. Prices pretty good from our varied experience of lots of car parks. Good disabled parking spaces with plenty of room. Spaces generally well marked out and not too tight. Pay machine takes cash and isn't contactless yet unfortunately. You can pay by phone but it's hassle and I never do that, so I'm grumbling a bit and scrabbling for change!! Apart from that, it's a good car park!
4 hours good rates and easy walk to town centre

Great value parking, easy walk into Wells, we were on holiday in the area and used it to pop into city on a near daily basis as was £1.90 for 4 hours or £3.10 for 9 or more hours. Payment either by cash or download the app
Great carpark tucked around the back of the town so just a short walk in. Cheap as chips £1.90 for 4 hours! You do need coins though as you can't pay by notes or card.
Pretty good as car parks go, very easy access in and out close enough to the high street and supermarkets. Cheap rate too for longer periods.
Great place to park when visiting Wells. Not too far from the town centre and only costs £1.90 for 4 hours. It's right by the ring road across the road from Halfords.
