Absolutely fab wine shop. The staff are all very informed and helpful, and the offers bin usually always has fantastic finds at incredible prices. General prices are also all very reasonable.

I was recommended a 2009 Spanish red (not reserva) for £10. The wine however was off. They store good brands but the label years are too old, so probably the wine is off by the time you buy it.

Chose a £22 Rhône and handed them £25 and was told my £5 note (that I received for my cheese purchase 20 minutes earlier) was “too old” and they couldn’t accept it and I would have to go to the bank to exchange it.  Being a Saturday and leaving London Sunday I asked if they could exchange it and they said no.  So I left and went to the other wine shop around the corner and they told me the note was old but still accepted it.  Ridiculous customer service.

Excellent, off-the-beaten-path wine tasting selection - at great prices. Really friendly Front of House staff!
