We went today to open a bank account at TSB cumbernauld branch, my client was refused to open an account due to he didnt speak good English. I am a professional interpreter and that was the first time i have experienced something like this! A member of staff came to us and said that the branch manager said " Unfortunately we can't open a bank account for you due to language barrier but maybe other banks will do" This is totally unacceptable! So dissapointing when people still think this way.
