I desperately want to have liked this more, but unless you're local the increased distance is likely to increase disappointment. BUT despite some areas being tired and in renovation, the creatures seen were in good health, bright eyed and bushy tailed. The blue frogs are almost worth a visit just for themselves, and as shown in the photos it's very easy to be close enough to see well even for small excitable people . The shop and wider park look impressive. Customer service is good and it's even possible to book an indoor for Tropical World or outdoor mobility scooter for use during your visit. Although this is only for adults - hugely disappointing as we booked ahead for an 11yr old, only to be refused on arrival.
So immersive!! I really loved it there, they have a butterfly area with gorgeous little bugs. So many cool fishes including piranhas and even monkeys! Lovely date destination.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
I don’t know what is up with the bad reviews! This place was aaaamaazing, we had a great day out, it is a nice place to enjoy with kids of various ages and they will all love it! Some people were complaining about the payment, but guys, they expenses of keeping a place like this up and running is huge! Plus they are trying to keep endangered species alive. One tip thought: bring the kids in thin summer layers, water for everyone, it get really warm once inside! Enjoy the garden outside before you leave
It is a good place for family to visit. A little bit hot, just like tropical weather. haha! Remember to bring enough water with you. After visiting, you can have some food in the Cafe with reasonable price.Visited onWeekdayWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNot sure
Came with my 2 kids and we loved it! Yes it is hot and humid but that's what you expect from a tropical enclosure. Saw plenty of butterflies, they were landing on people! Lots of animals to see. The only thing we struggled with was it was very busy and the paths were very narrow, it did sometimes get confusing were to go next, we were worried about missing things. It was lovely though and for the price too, a bargain!
.it was great to see and feel how a tropical paradise would actually be .the butterfly were to quick for me to take pictures but my favorites were the ting blue frog thst gave me an high 4 on the glass all in all a great day out thankyouVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Amazing place, love to visit regularly, staff are always welcoming and friendly, the environment is clean and my child loved seeing all the animals. An area was closed off on this visit which was a little disappointing but still had a great day out. Cheap ticket price too meant we could spend more at the gift shop!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Went at a really good time as there were hardly any kids in the way, fun to walk around, some enclosures are very small, which made us quiet sad! especially the monkey ones. saw a few butterflies and birds which is very cute! Recommend for kids too!
Very child friendly! Could take stroller everywhere with us, my 1.5 year old was tall enough too see everything. A great family thing to do. Very hot like dessert hot so wear clothes accordingly.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
A fantastic place, a little gem close to the city. A beautifully designed exhibition area with rare animals and plants. Be sure to explore the wonderful gardens/park that surround it.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
