Trinity is ofc known as one of the most prestigious and beautiful cambridge colleges. Every time I goto the Great court, I feel so amazing!nnIt would be nicer if they let non-Trinity students dine there. Also porters are known to be mean to non-Trinity students. I understand trying to stop the place from being overrun by tourists but students from other cambridge colleges also have supervisions here!
Trinity College in Cambridge is an absolute masterpiece, both historically and architecturally. The grandeur of the Great Court alone is enough to take your breath away; it's one of the largest enclosed courts in Europe, and its sheer scale makes you feel part of something monumental. Founded by Henry VIII in 1546, the college is steeped in history, and you can feel it in every stone.nThe chapel, library, and gardens all add to Trinity's charm, offering a serene escape from the bustling city just outside. The college’s list of alumni speaks for itself: from Newton to Byron to Turing, you’re surrounded by a legacy of minds that changed the world. Definitely recommend .
Great experience at Trinity with our guide Rob. Six old colleagues from around the country & one American visiting from Colombia. We were accompanied by 2 young Chinese ladies & had an hour long tour of the college chapel & grounds. Rob was friendly, knowledgeable & amusing. I'd thoroughly recommend the tour. Also it's a bargain, we'd had a self guided tour of King's earlier the same day & although King's chapel is a wonderful experience, I preferred the guided tour at Trinity. Many thanks to Rob!
Trinity College, situated right at the heart of Cambridge, is widely and justifiably celebrated for being one of the most historically significant and academically brilliant colleges globally, a reputation consistently endorsed by every student or academic I have ever discussed it with. The sheer weight of its history, combined with its stunning architecture and expansive grounds, creates an atmosphere that genuinely inspires deep, intellectual pursuit. Friends who have studied there frequently emphasize the outstanding quality of teaching, particularly the rigorous yet highly personalized supervision system that pushes students to excel. Furthermore, the College boasts an incredible array of resources and a substantial endowment, ensuring that students from all backgrounds have the necessary support to thrive. The distinguished fellowship and the numerous Nobel laureates associated with Trinity solidify its position at the apex of higher education. Choosing Trinity is not just choosing a place to study; it is choosing an unparalleled tradition of academic excellence.
We didn't know about this and didn't pre book. Luckily, Simon, our Porter guide managed to squeeze my wife and myself in. Simon was most knowledgeable and managed to answer all ournquestions. Leant a lot today, and this is the closest I will ever get to being admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge. Very well worth the £5 per person admission. Children under 12 free.
