Nice place to visit. A bit expensive for what you can actually visit but still worth it.nThe chapel and the gardens are beautiful
Worth the visit. Especially to stroll around the garden near the bridge of sighs! We visited in Dec winter, it’s lovely and we can imagine it must be even prettier during summer / autumn time.
We enjoyed walking through the old, beautiful interiors of the college, across the Bridge of Sighs and through the gardens. There is a good view of the bridge from inside the college. Admission is free if you go with a member of Cambridge University. The Chapel is mostly closed on the weekends.
Home to the tallest viewpoint in Cambridge, John’s College has an excellent buttery dining hall and an O.K bar. The arches in the back is beautiful and so is the field. Right by River Cam where all the punters are. Definitely a must-see college while you’re at Cambridge
