The food was delicious and tasted like homecooked hearty Italian food. The decor was nice as I felt like I was in Italy. Its a 3 star because the staff were incredibly slow. We got there around 8pm and sat by the bar while waiting to be seated and the waitresses didn't even ask us if we wanted like a drink. The food took 45 minutes to come and when we wanted the bill the waiter said he'd bring it then walked around clearing tables for 10 minutes first. The food is good but the service is slow
We were a little disappointed that we could not get through on the phone, so decided to just show up. We were greeted with a lady finding that strange as she had the phone most of the night, so showed her the attempted calls. She sent us away for an hour and squeezed us which we thought was pretty good. Definately worth a visit, the staff are lovely and even on such a busy night they all were extremely smiley. A big high five to the front of house lady blonde hair as she works like a trojan, front of house, server, clears away, takes orders! Total asset. Thank you for feeding us xx
Absolutely beautiful! The best carbonara we’ve ever had! Food was stunning, atmosphere lovely, staff very friendly. We arrived as a family of five without a booking and staff were so accommodating. Definitely recommend, we will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.
Tricolos has a nice atmosphere with an attentive and friendly staff team. The service was fast and the food was tasty and satisfying and very reasonably priced. It was my friends birthday & I quietly asked if she could have a suprise to acknowledge the occasion. Being presented with chocolate sauce topped ice-cream with a sparkler and being wished happy birthday made her day. At no extra cost. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
Chanced just going along without booking and managed to get squeezed in although the restaurant was very busy. We were served relatively quickly and the food was delicious and the price for four adults for mains and drinks was under £60. If you're in scarborough and are looking for an Italian restaurant make Tricolos top of your list the food, the service and atmosphere are fantastic
A really tasty Italian treat. The meals are of generous proportions and are amazingly well made and taste awesome. I had the calzone there while on a weekend holiday, and my god......it was huge!! Take an 18" pizza, fold in two and that's what ye get, stuffed in the middle with all the toppings of your choice and a little sauce splashed over the top for extra tastiness. Amazing value and well worth the visit.
Myself and my husband and 2 friends went here last night. It wasn't the first time, it will not be the last. The food and service is as good everytime. My favourite Italian we come from Hull for the food. It's authentic amazing portions can't speak highly enough.
Fabulous food fries are a bit yuck but food Fabulous
Not been here for ages but the menu was good and the food was very enjoyable. Felt a little cramped and though it was bums on seats. The service when we first went in was great but seamed to wane as the night went on even though it got less busy. Still an enjoyable experience.
A lovely authentic Italian restaurant,we had a delicious 3 course meal with the family,our granddaughter got her order mixed up,she wanted spaghetti Bolognese,but changed her mind and wanted a pizza instead,and the waitress brought her a Bolognese pizza,her Dad explained that what she originally wanted got confused with the waiter who took our order,but they were really nice about it and brought her,her pizza.we would really recommend this place. We've all had a great time.
