Just had dinner here with my family, for once my son ate everything! The food was impeccable, and the staff very polite and attentive. Next time we come to Scarborough we will be coming back for dinner. Highly recommended!
Situated right next to Scarborough Harbour. We called on a Friday teatime but we were told a table would not be available until 8pm. We booked the table and then left. We returned at 7.30pm and we were shown to a table for 4 people upstairs right next to the bar area, this meant no view of the harbour there were a number of other empty tables . The waitress was friendly and took our drink and food order quickly. We ordered 3 pizzas and a calzone, food and drink arrived in super fast time. The food was tasty but nothing special, prices we thought are a little steep for what you get, we paid £93 for 4 drinks and 4 pizzas. We wouldn't make a point of going back there to eat.
Always a great meal at Ask, the food doesn't ever disappoint, and I wanted to begin my review with this... ... because on this occasion the evening began with a catalogue of stuff which wasn't making our experience great. . We arrived, and were ignored, by a member of staff ... yes, she may have had other work to do, but a smile, and a hello, would have been nice. . Second member of staff greeted us, we mentioned the free tea towel offered to us on the app .... but there were none left. . Mentioned we had Tesco vchrs to use, but even though Tesco let us buy them, this Ask didn't take them, nor in fact do any Ask take them in Dec! . We weren't able to book a table before 7.30pm, and yet on arrival, there were lots of tables free! This cd have been our poor experience, but the staff pulled it back ... and some. . They offered us free drinks; . The service was exceptional, with waiting staff friendly and attentive; . The food was excellent ; . The location was lovely, with our table looking out onto the water. A lovely, lovely meal. Thank you

Very nice meal & polite staff too, personally I prefer a little more seasoning in the sauce & thought the starter was slightly small otherwise it would have been 5 star.
One of the few restaurants open all year round on Scarborough's sea front. A lovely welcome with friendly staff, appropriately distanced tables and the regular menu. Some items including the special Tiramisu offer & the profiteroles were not available on the Wednesday evening we went. Food was excellent, service was great and with drinks our 3 course meal came to about £65 for the 2 of us.
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Very nice,tasty and delicious pizza with beautiful view of Scarborough Harbour and friendly staffDefinitely I will come back again
