The takeaway food we ordered was really sub standard, it tasted burnt, and there was barely any meat. We basically paid £50 for the worst food we've ever had, which consisted of burnt noodles. We did not eat this food because it was really, really bad, and didn't want to risk getting food poisoning. I called the restaurant to complain, and they weren't at all helpful. I do not recommend this place at all. Seeing all of the other bad reviews here should warrant a visit from the Food Standards Agency.
My vegan partner and I ordered here for the first time tonight and we ordered a mixture of dishes vegan for her, non-vegan for me. Every dish was great and they delivered to Yate which was a great bonus. We will definitely be ordering again.
£10.95 for salt & chilli garlic chicken, the carton was half full, absolute rip off
Ordered £40 odd pounds worth, including grandmas spicy chilli chow mein. Never received it, rang them asked for the dish, they said they couldn’t help and wouldn’t deliver it! Very bad customer service. Also ordered crispy chilli beef, and the container was half empty not happy!only 4 chicken balls instead of 5, and ribs covered in fat.
Food arrived quickly and was hot. However, I wish I trusted the other reviews. The Chili beef was chewy and really bitter and salty taste. I had to spit it out and throw it away. The noodles had more bean sprouts than noodles. Threw both away. Just Eat refuse to give a refund for bad food.
This place is amazing, we’ve been ordering for years and always been tasty and huge portions. I really don’t understand the bad reviews. We pay £4.95 delivery because of where we live and it’s also much more expensive than our local Chinese but the difference is quality is huge and I would rather pay more for decent quality and quantity. Honestly don’t believe the bad reviews, give it a try yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Today we’ve had crispy chilli beef which is out of this world, a vegetable chow mein which is full of veggies and flavour, bbq ribs in bbq sauce is outstanding, beef chow mein is full of beef and again sweet and sour chicken balls are cooked to perfection and all 3 sauces are lovely. Right consistency and flavourful. We had a barbecue, sweet and sour and a curry sauce! We are regular customers and will continue to be regular! And to add, the delivery drivers are always friendly Vegetarian options: Amazing for vegetarians Kid-friendliness: My son loves the food Dietary restrictions: Speak to them, they can accommodate
Boyfriend has been sick all night after eating the vingary crispy beef, a mouthful of the plastic tasting chicken fried rice and the the soup went straight in the bin. The cats didn’t even recognise it as food. Had my boyfriend had eaten the whole meal, I dread to think where we would be right now! Horrendous! Can’t believe I have to give them one star to post
Worst Chinese I have ever had. Salt and chili chicken. Salt and chili chips. Tasteless. Curry sauce . Powdery and tasteless. Not in the least bit spicy.
So disappointing. Worst salt and pepper chilli's garlic tofu I've ever had in my life. Curry sauce was disgustinh, separated and horrible, off-putting colour. There were no veggies in the dish. The only good thing was the chips. Delivery driver was so nice and the only saving grace to this waste of money. I do not reccomend.
Unlike other reviewers, I don't have an oriental partner, nor do I go to Chinese restaurants to satisfy a fish & chips craving ever. However, we are both vegetarian and this is our favourite takeaway for Chinese food in the area. We have ordered food from Treats Oriental dozens of times without ever having a single complaint. Thanks!
