Absolute hell hole, stayed Mon - Fri, shower in the room didn't work when I told the receptionist she just shrugged. Rooms basic but the bed was fine. Gangs of eastern Europeans drinking out of their car boot in the car park near the reception every night and could get quite lairy. Most nights drunk eastern Europeans stood smoking/drinking/shouting outside the front of the hotel, one night till 2am. Stong smell of cannabis most nights in the corridor. Never again.
Room was OK pretty old, bed was comfy, coffee and tea were stocked up but no shampoo and no hand wash, toilet had hairs in it the shower was quite dirty. Staff were friendly though. But pretty cheap to stay so not that bad for the priceRooms: 1/5
Sooo Travelodge Alcester... easy as pie to get to which was useful. 24hrs Macdonalds next door is a lifesaver. The receptionist was friendly but spoke quieter than a mortuary gathering so if your deaf... goodluck. Now, the all important, Room!.... First impressions are simple but effective, get what you pay for and in our case more than you pay for!!! Im all for sharing a room and making friends, but clearly the flying monstrosity gave up the ghost prior to our arrival, with its final resting place being the bathroom floor - RIP. Room service clearly deciding we all need a little company, albeit dead company. As for the walls, we will just guess someone opened a can of fizzy pop - the wet marks on the wall, because thinking othereise is mortifying!! Rooms: Simple but effective albeit a little grubby in place. You even get the odd dead bug. No extra charged either!
Stopped for 2 nights purely due to close location to were I was visiting and it was super cheaper. Its a travelodge so the basics are there however it has been forgotten about in terms of up keep and maintenance rooms lighting still flurocents. It's close to an A road and we had one of the closest rooms but it wasn't ridiculous noise from the road. Handy cheap overnight stop.
Stayed here for one night. Bed was comfy and the room had a nice powerful shower but unfortunately that's where the good ends. The room was pretty tired and wasn't exactly the cleaned either. Dust all over the place, carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, stains on the curtains and bed frame, strange marks left on the bath. Waited about to speak to a receptionist but nobody showed, I'd think twice before staying here again.
Absolutely terrible. Booked as I had an important day at work and no water at home because of renovations. The shower was the worst I'd ever experienced. A litteral drop and there was no shampoo in the dispenser. The whole point of staying was to have a decent shower before work. Absolute rip off.Rooms: 1/5
I stayed at this hotel for a work conference, I’m afraid my finds were not good . The room had mold growing in the inside of the window edge . The bathroom was dirty and the bed very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone .Rooms: 1/5
Bed was honderous . Pillows were very uncomfortable . Probley one of the worse nights sleep I've had . Shower was awkward and old fashioned. No floor mat . So floor became very slippley. Poor view from window . Lights very bright not nice to wake up too . Small kettle .Rooms: 1/5
Room was comfy, convenient though the breakfast we paid in advance didn't have any vegan or gluten free option... Disappointed to have to throw that away and I couldn't see any details on the site about that despite what the assistant said.Rooms: 5/5
Had to stay last minute during an electrical emergency at home. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Work was being done to the communal areas but very quiet and efficient.Rooms: 3/5
