First time stop at Poole Travelodge- usual luke warm welcome from receptionist female plenty of free parking on site. Just off the main road to Bournemouth. Room i had was ideal for a solo traveller. Overlooking the main road so noisy of windows open. But once closed they did a good job of keeping the noise out. Free tea and coffee and extra if needed. Nice hot shower which is always a bonus. I had no issues with the cleanliness. Short walk to the bus stop to get into town. I would stop here again if i was in the area.
Stayed in a Family room Triple with 3 adults. We arrived at midnight and were promptly let in by Dan, who was incredible. Not only did he let one of our group ring the bell to great joy but he provided a mug of soap as soap was empty in our room and amazing bar service. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Also he looked like a young hot Santa.
What a lovely stay. Rooms were exceptionally clean and a step above Premier Inn of late. Loads of tea and coffee. Lovely bathroom. Breakfast was lovely although eating area a little small for amount of rooms. Food was great. Loads of parking. Would highly recommend.
Very clean and comfortable. The food we had was also very nice. The staff were brilliant. We had a break down and they were so willing to help. They were friendly and helped make a difficult situation easier.
Convenient for Poole and has accessible rooms. It's situated in a business park, so don't expect prettiness.nnThe rooms are basic, but the wet room is well thought out. Plenty of space for my wife to manoeuvre her wheelchair, but that seems to come at the expense of facilities in the room. There are no storage places at all, no cupboards, no drawers and no shelves, so unpacking your clothes is a problem. There are five hangers on an open rail, but no other hanging space. There are no coat hooks.nnThe bed is comfortable, but the room was described as a double, but has two single beds pushed together. There are plenty of power sockets which have integral USB sockets. A double 13 amp socket with two USB sockets is provided on each side of the headboard, but there are no bedside tables on which to put the things you've plugged into them.nnThe room is clean and warm.nnThe restaurant/bar is sterile and unwelcoming. Breakfast is a typical mass catered English breakfast, bacon, quite nice sausages, overcooked scrambled eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, grilled tomato and beans. There is also tea and coffee, toast bagels, croissants, fruit salad, cereal and fruit juice. Nothing is awful, nothing is great.nnIf you need somewhere to sleep while you are visiting Poole and are happy to live out of your suitcase and will be spending all day and evening out then this place is fine. If you want any level of pampering, sophistication or elegance, forget it.
