Really lovely and helpful staff, very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Rooms basic but clean and good selection breakfast offered. Would recommend it for overnight stay.
Checked in, walked down the hall to the room, opened it, took a good look. Used the wifi to look for somewhere else to stay for two nights at minimum notice. Not even going to try and argue for a refund.nThe place is a dump pure and simple. The beds are falling apart. Sure the bedding is mostly clean, but the fabic on the bed frames is falling off and worn outnThe bathroom wreeked of damp, with black mold around the shower. It was spacious, in that it looked like a 50s school toilet room.nnWe left in under an hour, the stay somewhere else.nnThe staff were very polite and helpful.nnThis is not worth anymore than £25 a night, as somewhere to crash out in after a rough night out.
Checked in and went to our room, it was small and had no fridge or microwave. The shower was older and was a little difficult to turn on. We could hear everything in the hallway and even some of the neighbors. The neighborhood is industrial with no food places around really. The vibes were weird. Bed was rock hard and uncomfortable, but we saw no sign of bedbugs so that's a plus!nRooms were clean. Really it was just the lack of amenities and the atmosphere, not very comfortable so we actually ended up leaving within an hour. Not our cup of tea.
Stayed here with my husband, him for Man City game, Julie checked us in and helped with tea and directions to the etihad stadium..literally 15 min walk. Room was clean and cosy. Bathroom spotless, towels fluffy and white. Lovely and warm. Restaurant and bar area all clean and staff welcoming. The price was amazing value.
The team were great, very pleasant to deal with when we needed something. The hotel looks tired. Toilet flush handle needed to be pumped or it wouldn't flush.nnWe were asked if we wanted to be at the back where it is quiet, it was not quiet. Midnight and there were several very loud people talking in the corridors and adjoining rooms.nnThe price for this hotel does not match the quality, it is clearly cashing in on the venues close by though not that close knowing that people will pay it.
