Absolutely no frills stay. We checked in at night. They alloted the rooms but we did not have room keys until next morning which was very inconvenient. May be there was a technical glitch. There are no phones to connect you to the reception. Staff is friendly and helpful. Entrance is very weirdly located from parking. Be prepared to walk a little to get to the hotel from the main road or take a long flight of stairs to get to your vehicle as the elevator near parking may not work like in our case, haul your luggage over a few stairs as the small manual elevator at the building entrance rarely works. Was not the right choice for our purpose.
Location is good and rooms are nice . The hotel takes money upfront as soon as you enter the property . For Longer stays , we do not have flexibility after paying for the whole stay . Cleaning for long stays is done after 6 days . The prices fluctuate from 44£- 144£ which is weird .
We stayed 4 nights and it was the worst experience ever. Even motels have better customer service. Rooms are very small and washrooms are even smaller. Barely enough space to stand. Standing shower with a curtain so water flows out in the toilet area making a big puddle in the entire washroom. Room service just changed towels and did not clean the room or made beds at all. Room was facing sun in the morning so the whole day it stayed extremely hot and they provided a £5 table fan for the whole room which didn’t help at all as it turned into a boiler at 9am in the morning. I asked for another fan and no one showed up even after waiting for an hour. I had to go and pick up the fan from the reception myself. Staff behaves like they are doing us a favour. The small homemade elevator for wheelchairs or strollers with babies don’t work for weeks. No proper air circulation in the entire place and you may feel suffocation. Main door lockdidnt work properly and even the cleaning staff complained about this place. Avoid this place if you can.
My two daughters and I had booked a room here well in advance of our stay yet, upon arrival the room had not been set up for three people.nWe found two single mattresses, which we realised were the spare beds, under the double bed and realised the frame for them was under so set them up but then realised there was no extra bedding.nI had to go to reception to ask for extra bedding which took about 10 to 15 minutes to be bought to us, then we realised there were only two cups so had to go back to reception for an extra cup!nThese things should have been ready for our arrival!nThe key cards are also extremely temperamental so it took several attempts to open the doors with them.nOverall not the best experience
I recently stayed at the Travelodge on Wembley High Road and had an overall positive experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the basics covered—comfortable beds, a good shower, and tea/coffee facilities. The staff were welcoming and responsive to any requests, which added to the overall experience. Big shoutout to Deep Patel and Prashant Kori for making our trip comfortable.nnOverall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly and well-located place to stay near Wembley. I’d recommend it for anyone attending an event nearby or for travelers who need a comfortable, no-frills accommodation in London.
