Stayed after a gig at Wembley last week so the price for the night was huge- £425!- and it was not worth this at all!nOn arrival you have to pay a £50 damage fee which is supposedly returned after 3-5days if no damage is found. This was not mentioned in any of the booking confirmations prior to arrival so it was a shock. Considering the price of the room and the state of the room this is laughable to say the least. At time of writing this review 1 week after staying there my husband had not yet received this back. The room was dirty, had stains all over it and was in need of fixing- the carpet smelt bad and had various stains on it including one which looked like a skid mark, there were some lovely white spray marks on the curtains and there was a brown substance on the light switch by the bed. The trim under the fridge was broken so the chipboard was exposed and sharp and the fridge door itself was also hanging off.nThe first floor corridor on which we were staying smelt of damp and had 3 holes in the ceiling that had damp patches round them- 1 of these holes was above our door and the carpet underneath was also wet and damaged.nThis hotel is listed as a 5 star hotel and I can only assume that that was from 20years ago or whenever it opened and likely was a lot nicer than it is now. It has clearly not been maintained since then and cleaning of it would be minimal at best.nnThe best thing about this hotel is its proximity to Wembley for events.
I booked a room for one night, expecting a comfortable and pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my stay was far from satisfactory due to several serious issues that I encountered upon arrival.nnAfter checking in, we immediately checked out upon seeing the room due to the following issues:nn1.    Health and Safety Concerns: I experienced an electric shock when I attempted to turn on the desk light in the room. This is a severe safety hazard and could have resulted in serious injury.n2.    Building Maintenance Issues: The room had leaking marks on the ceiling, indicating a potential ongoing water damage issue that could compromise the structural integrity of the building.n3.    Poor Cleaning Standards: The cleanliness of the room was appalling. There was dust everywhere, mould in the sink, and significant mould and limescale buildup in the shower cubicle. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable and does not meet basic hygiene standards.n4.    Non-functional Amenities: The mini fridge in the room was not working, which was an inconvenience as I needed to store some perishable items.nnThese issues collectively made the room uninhabitable and raised serious concerns about the management and upkeep of your property. I am deeply disappointed and believe that such conditions are unacceptable for any hotel, particularly one that I chose based on positive reviews and a good reputation.
1. The location of this hotel is excellent, very close to Wembley station.n2. We only had a one night stay, but the receptionist took £50 as a damage deposit when we checked in and he said you'd get it back as soon as you check out. It was very annoying and we have never faced this kind of issue before.n3. Room was ok but the carpets was dirty and some of the furniture was broken.
Don’t STAY HERE!nnI stayed here in June and was placed in a room with no air conditioning on one of the hottest days of the year. I called reception and they was unable to offer me another room. At check out I was told the manger would call me to issue refund. Since June St George’s have fobbed me off and have said the manager wont take my call. They then told booking. Com they would issue refund yet they still have not processed this. The manger and customer service of this establishment is atrocious. The hotel is not even cleanly.
Customer services has been absolutely shocking since leaving the hotel. The front desk staff have been extremely rude and either lazy or incompetent. Multiple phone calls and emails chasing an issue and they’re now ignoring me.nnShocking service.nIt wasn’t great during the stay either. No acknowledgment as you arrived, no smiling, a flat tone during check in…nWould not recommend this hotel to anyone.
