Everything that you would expect from a travel lodge. Nice comfortable bed. Everything clean and neat. Only thing is that the reception desk doesn't seem to be manned at all times. We paid for an early check in and there wasn't anyone around initially. Eventually, someone came to check us in but we didn't have any phone signal to be able to call the number provided on the reception desk. We were lucky that someone attended to us as we had to be at a funeral and needed to change clothes and freshen up after our long journey.
Sharing a lovely family room with my sister and her little dog. Room is very clean with ample room. 1 x Q bed and 2 single trundles. Very comfortable beds and very quiet. Bathroom is a great size with a shower over the tub.nOnly draw back would the soap dispensers did not work and the lovely ladies on the staff could not fix them so we were given a cup full of soap instead and the keys to the entry door and room were hit and miss, sometimes they worked and other times they didn’t, however there was someone at reception to help at all times.nI highly recommend this Travelodge as it is very clean budget accommodation and well worth the stay as it is close to the pier and shops. It is in the heart of everything.nThe best bit for us is dogs are welcome pretty much everywhere.
We had a great stay at the Llandudno Travelodge over the weekend. We were assisted by a young gentleman named Ryan. He was very helpful and assisted us with any questions we had. He also suggested a few places to grab some food. Thank you for making our stay amazing.
Stayed here recently — the room was basic but perfectly adequate for what I needed. I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because the rooms really need air conditioning; it was far too hot and stuffy, especially as the windows barely open and only let in a tiny bit of fresh air.nnBeds were fine, though the pull-out beds are quite noisy when moving around. The shower was clean and worked well. Didn’t try the breakfast after reading other reviews saying it wasn’t worth it.nnNoise can be an issue — the rooms aren’t very soundproof, so we could hear people opening and closing doors at night. Outside noise also carries; we were woken by the binmen emptying bins right outside our room in the morning, even though we were on the 2nd floor.nnWi-Fi is limited — you only get 30 minutes free, which is pretty useless, and then it’s £3.50 for 24 hours for up to two devices which was fine once paid. TV is basic Freeview only — no Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime, which would have been handy. We tried connecting our Fire TV Stick, but it wouldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi even after paying for access, so be aware if you plan to use one.nnHairdryer available on request, which was handy. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch, but only long-life milk was provided. No mini-fridge in the room, which would definitely help improve the experience.nnOverall, decent value for money if you’re after a simple, no-frills stay — but be prepared for warm rooms, limited fresh air, some noise, and very basic tech amenities.
Mystery wet patches on the carpet in the family room. Sweating hot in the rooms, window doesn’t open much neither health and safety I understandnSheets had some staining on and the bed isn’t a king size bed more like a double or queen size.nnExpensive for what it was. I won’t be staying there again
