Well needed night away. The Marine has provided this, the room was clean and warm with a sea view. Sat in the bar having a drink looking at views. Staff are lovely and polite. Amy the night entertainment was brilliant, sang songs we could sing along too, have a dance if you wanted. We had a great laugh and met some lovely people. Breakfast was plenty full For the price was brilliant.
We had a lovely couple of days here. Staff are friendly and polite. Our spacious clean room was at the back of the hotel with a lovely view of the Welsh mountains. The sun was shining whilst we were there and in the afternoon our room was full of it's lovely rays. Made coming back to our room so welcoming. Our breakfast was plentiful with a good chosen option. Only one thing was my cooked breakfast wasn't as warm as I would have liked it. My fault because I'm sure if I had asked for it warming up they would have obliged me. I even heard a guest ask for a different type of milk and they didn't have it , but said they would get it in for the guest the next day. The location is great, straight out the door onto the prom. Nice flat easy walking for miles taking in the sea or shopping or justnsitting in one of Llandudno's many eateries just people watching. Two days just flew by.
Stayed here for 1 night on a Sunday .nParking is on the main street , or wherever you can find .nOn 1st impressions, the hotel is tired and has a musty smell . The treck to the lift was through the entertainment room and maize of corridors .nI had a single room which had a sea view if you were about 4 feet tall . The window did not close properly, so the high winds whistled through the gaps all night, keeping me awake along with the rock-hard pillows.nThe bed was actually quite comfortable.nThe room itself was ample size for 1 adult, but the bathroom was too cramped . I found 2 very long dark hairs wrapped around the shower hose !nnYou could literally sit on the loo and brush your teeth in the sink directly in front of you !nThe shower was tiny , anyone above 6 feet tall and larger build would struggle to manoeuvre in the small space .nnI didn't eat or drink in the hotel , I was offered breakfast for £10 but not offered any information as to what I would get for that cost .nThe only positive to this hotel is that the staff are very friendly ,but come across as always in a rush . The location is ideal if you stay for a few nights , with access to all restaurants and the pier
Dec 23 to 27 2024nChristmas at the Marine hotel has been brilliant. Our room was on ground floor and I cannot fault one thing about it, spacious, comfy, warm, fabulous hot powerful shower.nThe staff have been really pleasant and have worked so hard ….especially the restaurant staff, what a team of workers they have. The breakfast is amazing, it’s scrambled egg on the buffet but if you want fried or poached you just have to ask. The meals are good and plentiful, ok not restaurant level but they are feeding approx. 80 at a time so let’s not get picky.nEntertainment has been good, bingo if you want it. Drinks are quite pricey but this was such a fabulous bargain price that it’s your choice how much you drink nDefinitely coming back Thank you to Marine hotel for a fabulous Christmas
Stayed here for a night with an amazing sea front view which made the sun set and sun rise all the nicer. Lovely night staff who helped me sort a booking issues with ease. It was a little cold in the room so they gave me a space heater which worked a treat. The room was clean with hot drinks vouchers for the bar on the ground floor. There was Tea and coffee in the room. Nice standard bathroom. Clean bedding and towels. Iron and ironing board in the room. Basic tv channels on the flat screen. Comfy bed medium to firm mattress. Nice pillows. It couldn’t with a bit of paint work and some freshening up bit over all a very nice stay. Breakfast was typical hotel food full dry up, cereals, and pasties. Coffee, tea or fresh juices. The restaurant staff were also very nice. Aggie the manager was impeccable with her customer services and went above and beyond for me.
