Very nice menu, good choice Sunday Lunch menu, excellent service by the staff. Good choice of beers and wines. Owners are really attentatuve and have trained staff in service, which makes the whole experience of dining out pleasurable... keep up the good work Traveller's..
Had a celebration for 14 ladies on Friday 9th Dec , we all had 3 courses of the Christmas Menu , all food was absolutely gorgeous, not a complaint off any of us , even with such a big group , all food came out hot , and was beautiful. Presented very well , and the staff were a credit to the pub . We eat here quite a bit and they certainly did not let us down .
First time eating here in years four of us had the roast dinners with veg, between four of us we were given one small terrine of veg, a tiny dollop of mash and two slices of thinnest sliced beef you can imagine. It tasted good but expected a bit more for the price. Kids meal was a microwave pizza which she didn't eat much of.
Lovely welcoming and friendly pub . Passed through when i was out walking the restaurant part was full but we were able to sit at tables in the bar side The food was excellent and very reasonably priced definitely go back again
Went in with my family and our pet dog, sat down to a table which was apparently reserved, had no reservation on table, told to move.. dogs roaming around off their leads everywhere.. land lady does not seem to care.. put my dog in the car who was on a lead because other dogs would not leave us alone.. finished our drinks.. never to go back.. such a shame its literally gone to the dogs...
Called in today had small plates on the menu. Mushrooms were frozen in the middle.If a chef can't warm mushrooms up it's a major problem. The other food was cold.Half the food order was wrong.NEVER AGAIN just glad we didn't have meat!!!
Lovely place. The staff were brilliant and so was the food. We had a great night here and would definitely go back!
Cosy pub in a great location with plenty of parking. Good fresh grub served from an extensive menu and daily specials available especially the homemade steak pie and peas!! Wide range of beers and wines available at a reasonable price. Really friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful views of the local area from an extensive outside seating area.
