Good location for needs. Friendly welcome from James and staff. Helpful only need to ask if you need something. Basic facilities just needs refreshing newer mattresses. Great steak house over road.

Sorry, great people working here but the rooms are very very tired! The price obviously reflects this but I'll pay slightly more to stay elsewhere. Good points there is a fridge and microwave in the room if that interests you (alas not that useful for us)!

Old, shabby, tatty former travel lodge that is in a much needed state refurbished.
Staff are friendly and helpful, a few nearby facilities are it's only saving grace.
Alright to crash here if no other options are available, but not recommended and I won't ever be staying here again.

No No No - disgustingly dirty.  The mattress was filthy and needed burning, hairs on the mattress protector which was also stained and the bedding had been slept in.   That bad we went elsewhere.  The staff may be pleasant and helpful but this doesn't compensate for one of the worst experiences I have had.
