Story

Having owned two successful nail salons in Hertfordshire for the past ten years, we made the decision to bring our expertise to Kensington. We finally found the perfect location at 139 Church Street.

We decided to call the salon Tranquility, because we believe that the name reflects the ethos behind the service we offer. In keeping with our philosophy, we believe in providing an exceptional customer experience, in an environment which has been thoughtfully designed to instill feelings of calm and wellbeing.

Customer satisfaction has always been our priority. We provide a service that is professional, relaxing and tailored to individual needs. Our treatments refresh and energize, to provide the perfect antidote to city life. We have spent the past twelve months completely refurbishing the salon, to meet our own high expectations. We are now able to welcome our clients into a salon that is spacious, hygienic and beautifully well appointed. Everything, from our six custom made massage pedicure chairs, to lighting, aroma, furnishings and music have all been considered, with the pleasure and comfort of our customers in mind.

All of our products here at Tranquility, are of the highest quality for professional use. Products include world-renowned brands such as OPI, Essie and CND Shellac.

The reception is amazing! Really good and fast customer service, and really helpful. Everyone is very friendly and always doing their best to help out with anything. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional and make you feel welcomed as soon as you enter! The atmosphere is relaxing and they have a range of nail colours and designs and are always done to perfection! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality nails!

The nail salon staff are lovely and very professional. I asked many questions, and she answered them professionally and did my nails exactly the way I wanted. Her name is Helen, and she is amazing—truly professional!

Have been to Tranquility nail shop many times, with friendly staff serving drinks and dedicated service! The shop is clean and beautiful, the nail clippers are sterilized, and the colors are freely chosen... It's a place worth going to for nails  Highly recommend this shop to get your nails done. I will come back next time

Awful staff - lied about pricing to me. I very rarely write a bad review but I walked in and asked for the cost of a shellac removal and the lady at the front desk told me £5. I had my shellac removed no other service, just a removal which took less than 15 minutes with no complications during removal and when I went to pay, another colleague piped up and asked me for £17!  Two things:  1. She told me her other colleague who quoted me £5 was new and did not know what she was talking about - this is not the customer's problem. I would never have come here if I knew a shellac removal was £17  2. Extortionate pricing and complete lies - I checked the price list and could not find this pricing on there anywhere  Although I can't comment on the quality of the nail treatment, the lies and rudeness from the staff says enough. There is nothing worse than supporting a local business and then being scammed on the price. I have seen an almost identical review to mine on google about this place, so sadly I am not the only customer they have done this to.

Very very impressive. The lady is truly an artist who can do exactly what I want. Also the services are amazing, all the time I visit they always offer me a drink and help with color,… Plus, the shop is always clean and tidy Love all of them
