I had booked a 30 minute pregnancy massage which unfortunately was terrible. The spa itself Looks pretty good from the inside considering it’s in a shopping centre but the room that I had my treatment in was ridiculously hot and quite uncomfortable. The bed also had what seemed like hundreds of towels/blankets on it which made it hard to get comfy. The pregnancy pillow that was given to me was wrapped in a blanket and I attach a picture illustrating what the pillow looked like - not something I’d want to be holding on to! As for the massage, I was told that it would be a light touch but with medium pressure in certain areas. I have to say I apply more pressure putting on moisturizer! It was so light touch I had to ask for additional pressure but it remained much the same and if I’m honest I had to stop myself from laughing it was so bad. Overall it wasn’t a good massage. It was more like someone moisturizing my back in a darkened room! Perhaps it was just the therapist I had as I’ve heard good things about this spa in the past, but it seemed like she was almost afraid of giving a massage as I am pregnant! Completely appreciate the need to be safe, but I honestly do not think they should be able to call it a massage when it literally felt like someone was trying to put sun tan lotion on me.
Had a fantastic pregnancy massage last week! I was so refreshed and my skin was so smooth after, I would happily come time and time again. They are great prices too. The lady who looked after me, was so patient and caring especially when i was having a total baby brain The only annoying thing was I could hear other employees loudly talking and laughing near our room at one point

Always have a deluxe pedicure here and it’s amazing! Heated booties and the massage chairs make it all the more better. Definitely my fav place for pedicures
Went here today with my mom for an early Mother’s Day present for a time for two massage. Was in a duo room and we were made to feel very comfortable having not being used to having massages before. The staff were lovely and friendly and went out their way to ensure we had a good experience. Was very relaxing and brilliant atmosphere, will be recommending this spa to others. From the initial booking query to the actual appointment today all the staff were very professional. Really enjoyed , we also booked for the afternoon tea and that was absolutely brilliant really made it a special and enjoyable day.
Absolutely wonderful place! I booked a Swedish massage and met with Emily who was amazing! She was so professional and friendly. It was my first spa experience so I was both excited and a bit nervous but Emily very quickly made me feel at ease. I've suffered with anxiety for most of my life and it's such a relief to find a service that genuinely helps. I've not felt this good in such a long time. I can't thank Emily and the team enough. Can't wait to go back!
Just visited Tranquil Spa at Merryhill, with my sister, after a morning of shopping. What a little gem in a shopping centre. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. I had an appointment with Leah, who was excellent. Highly recommend.
Had a few massages here absolutely wonderful and have brought a pamper massage for my daughter in law too . Perfect gift
I absolutely loved my time at Tranquil Day Spa. Leah looked after me and to say she was amazing would be an understatement. Leah was so so good and I felt amazing when she had finished with me. She was polite and extremely professional. Can't wait to go for my next treatment with Leah. I went with my wife and son who also had a full massage and in fairness the enjoyed it equally. Definatly recomend Tranquil Day Spa in the Merry Hill centre.
Very disappointed with the recent experience. We were notified that the merry hill store had been closed due to issues with a third party and offered to reschedule at the Hagley spa, with no real opportunity to rebook at the merry hill one. Following the poor experience at the Hagley spa, I notified the lady I was speaking with about my disappointment, I was advised to email the merry hill customer contact email, which I did a week ago with no response thus far. The following items were raised for concern relating to our experience.. Poor provision for access/parking. Unclear where to go. My wife had to park in the local high street and walk. The therapist was unable to provide water to my wife during her visit!! Ridiculous. The therapist was unable to work the equipment, leading to the therapy bed falling backwards whilst my wife was in it. This could have ended badly.. Staff were walking around laughing and talking loudly during treatment, ruining the experience. My wife didn’t receive the package that was paid for. I believe the package was for back, neck, shoulder, facial and either scalp leg or foot massage. She only received back, neck, shoulder and facial. The Doorbell was constantly ringing, further ruining the experience. Toilet could be heard being used during therapy. As you can imagine, this has left a real sour taste. This was purchased to help my wife during her pregnancy to experience a period of calm and relax, but instead she came out feeling angry and deflated.
