Ordered on 28/7, no further comms from towsure. Rang on 19/8 took 20 mins to get through on the phone, had emailed previously with no reply. Eventually told "product not in stock" Poor communication, selling products they don't have and not updating customers, just shoddy Money refunded, there are so many better companies out there, shan't bother with towsure again
Ordered Duvalay mattress toppers 8 days ago. No despatch, ignore emails and either do not answer phone or cut you off. Currently pursuing a case with Klarna. I would advise anybody not to order from this company.
Ordered boat trailer rollers over Web Site. Great service, arrived within a few days. Unfortunately we were not in to receive delivery but driver left in porch as agreed. Neighbour kindly took them in and placed in fridge. Packaging stated "FDM sundie mix" keep refridgerated. For the humour alone deserves 5 stars.
Went to store looking for roof rack for our berlingo. We have flush bars and asked the assistant Mark for help. He went out of his way to try and find some that would fit. This included taking them out to our van and seeing if they'd fit. They didnt so he then went online to look at other stores to see where we could get some. Even though we didnt buy anything he went above and beyond to help. Fantastic experience and will definitely shop there again.
I went into Towsure looking for a tyre for a jockey wheel! All of the workers there were helpful, pointing me to the right shell, trying to help me with the one that I found that had a damaged valve! Then as I needed to purchase on they informed me that more were on order and possibly arrive the next day, they wrote me the code number to ask for, it arrived the next day and I was able to pick it up!
Went to towsure about a tow bar got a quote, went to book in for it a week later they quoted £20 more, when we had the tow bar fitted it was an extra £7 on top of the £20 more they had already put it up by like how can you even do that after we agreed a price! twice the tow bar was fitted and all the rubbish and packaging was left in my car..bit unprofessional. Not used the tow bar yet, hopefully it's right.
Poor service, sold an option that they knew the fitter wouldn't fit so cost an extra £170 and it took 2 months for installation. Management refuse to answer emails. Steer clear very bad company
I purchased an awning from Quest Leisure on the 9 May via the Towsure website. We took it on holiday with us in June to the Isle of Wight. First problem was the awning started leaking at the front, which annoyingly soaked some of our cushions. More dramatically on one particularly windy day, the storm strap broke away from the awning itself, which forced me to take it down, which caused additional damage. Even though it was windy, the storm strap shouldn't have broken away that easily but only having two other guy ropes on it, didn't really help provide reasonable stability. I was concerned about how stable the awning was when I put it up. Quest Leisure responded to my complaint by saying that the awning was likely to leak until had been weathered? Also, that the storm strap broke because of the adverse weather conditions. I have never experienced a leak in a brand new awning in 50+ years of camping and caravanning. As for the storm strap, the word 'storm' would suggest it would be suitable to use in adverse conditions. This country is subject to adverse conditions, so obviously the awning is not suitable to use in UK. I was not offered a replacement or refund, so think twice before you buy a product from Quest Leisure. Unfortunately, although Towsure were tried to assist in this matter, they were unable to help with a suitable resolution. I am stuck with a damaged awning that was not really fit for purpose.
Ordered Spring Assisters online SA5, in stock, was able to purchase or click and collect, went with the later. I was in the area later that day, so dropped in to see if my order was ready. Got told they weren't in stock by the lady on customer service, I was #perplexed as the web site allow me to order the item. The manager came over Mark P. Said the same as the lady. I found out He'd cancelled my order, and went on to say that he did the ordering and would not be ordering any, even if a customer was wanting them. He was rude, arrogant and seemed to care little about his nasty attitude. 0/10 for customer service, maybe he's part of the family behind the business and he can treat customers however he wants too or maybe he just doesn't care about the people that spend £££s in Towsure.
Selling stuff they say is in stock then cancelling order as …..they don’t actually have it in stock
