First time trying this restaurant. Really good food and good price. We went on a Wednesday lunch time. Fairly quiet but nice service and hot food. The fish is lovely.
Group of 8 went for a very pleasant afternoon meal. We had a range of dishes and drinks, from the menu. Fish, pies, meat, desserts. All of which were very well cooked. The ambience of the place is nice and the staff were attentive and polite. Sadly, the inclement weather meant the views were not quite what they could have been, I would think the views would be great on a nice day, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. I would definitely go back again. It is a great location for a meal and drinks before going to the Cliffs Pavillion.
I ordered the fillet steak and then passion fruit creme brulee for desert and cannot fault a thing.nnThe steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, while the triple-cooked chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The desert was a lovely end to an enjoyable meal. Everything came out in good time, too.nnThe restaurant was very clean and the sevice extremely friendly by the manager. Hope to come back again some time and try more things on the menu.
Daughter insisted on taking us to see how much she rated it!! She was right! Window by the sea, first class service, fantastic food at a very reasonable price! 3 courses of £30!!nMy absolute favourite Calfs Liver,,,,see photos
14 of us had a fabulous meal here for my mum's 70th birthday. The restaurant staff were so helpful not only on the day but in the run up to the event. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
