Excellent food and service with a great outlook over the estuary. Dined here on a Sunday early evening and ordered from the Sunday set menu. The roast sirloin Sunday roast was fantastic. The desert was to die for (treacle sponge pudding) and the starters were very good (Atlantic prawn cocktail and sweetcorn and saffron soup). The choice on the bistro type menu is quite varied and generous in its content to choose from. We shall return to Tolouse. This certainly is one of the best restaurants Southend has to offer and is great value for money too.

Beautiful lunch at Toulouse. Our friebds go here a lot and so recommended that we join then during our visit from Melbourne. Totally loved the food and service. We will be back when next over.

Head Waiter disappointed. Refused to accept his olives tasted quite frankly, disgusting. They smelt 'off'. Shame really as the starters ans mains were fabulous.

Not the first visit but a special birthday celebration for 18. Children to seniors and as special as expected. My compliments to the waiting staff and kitchen , and the management, as usual. Thanks.
