Went out last night, with my family. We wanted to enjoy a nice meal by the sea side, however we where very appalled with service and food! Firstly, the waiter has no pen and paper write orders (she was acting clever to remember) down therefore my wife had no food, as she forgot to tell the chef. And we revived oysters with one of the mains! There where no side plates, table manners, such as knife and fork. A child's burger was uncooked! My fish was so deep fried it looked like it had been in fryer all day (please change the fryer oil) I'm very very dissatisfied, a specially as it was mine and my wife's anniversary! What a discrase, do not recommend

It's a lovely place to sit and have a coffee or brunch with friends. The atmosphere is cosy with a nice view and the staff was very friendly. The menu had many interesting plates to choose from, what I liked was the pancakes with fruits and the sundae. Additionally it has tables outside too but unfortunately the weather was windy with drizzle so we couldn't sit outside, which I would love to.

Visited with friends last night. Food was lovely...I had Oysters to start which were nice although a little small, followed by the Skate Wing. It was huge and only just fitted on the plate. Tasted delicious. One friend had the Seafood Risotto and we were surprised at how much seafood was in it. The service was good but a bit lacklustre...it’s hard to define why exactly but there was no enthusiasm behind it. No change of tone in describing the dishes...just flat. They also didn’t really make eye contact as they went past your table. A bit disinterested. Atmosphere was good though although had live entertainment. A solo singer...he was very good but too loud for the environment and we found ourselves shouting across the table to have a conversation. So...I’d go back but check if there is any entertainment and ask to be sat at the other end of the restaurant. I can cope with keep catching the eye of the server if it means I’m getting a nice meal. We also didn’t feel it was overpriced considering the standard of food we had.

The staff at the Oyster Creek are lovely, friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and there is a great selection to choose from on the menu! Would highly recommend to anyone! the food is well priced, slightly higher han other resturants but for a resturant on the beach overlooking the estuary this is lovely. The actual building is quite small but they have created a great atmosphere and the outdoor area is fantastic in the summer.
