I have been struggling for the last 3 years with ongoing shoulder and neck pain and have tried a number of treatments and therapists without seeing any improvement. After a recommendation from a friend, I started seeing Maria in March, after the first appointment, I felt so much better. I’ve just completed my fourth session and am seeing more improvement in the last 4 months than I have in the last 3 years. Maria has a very calm and gentle approach, she is very knowledgeable and has used a variety of techniques and given practical tips, which has helped reduce the pain, I would highly recommend her.
I have received treatment from Maria several times over a recurring back problem due to a fall several years ago. She is able to relieve tightness and discomfort in only one or two sessions and I always leave feeling so much better. I have recommended her to several of my friends who have also appreciated her skills and expertise. What I really like is that she is continually training and researching to give her clients the best possible treatments.
I have suffered with sinusitis for a number of years but my symptoms and attacks have worsened over the last couple of years. A friend recommended Maria and Bowen Therapy and after 2 treatments I have seen a dramatic improvement. My sinuses don't feel as congested, the pressure is released and the woolly head feeling is gone. Niggling back pain has gone as well and I feel better than I have for years. Sessions with Maria are so relaxing and she's a fantastic therapist.
I felt so relaxed and completely at ease as soon as I entered the lovely tranquil therapy room. Maria is extremely thorough and checks all aspects of your posture before using her extensive skills & knowledge to correct the problem. I was suffering from a neck rotation and shoulder issue which was completely remedied by Maria and I left feeling 100% better, so I would certainly recommend Maria to anyone needing any kind of touch therapy. I had a shoulder issues that the Drs couldn’t identify .. I had heard about Bowen & was lucky enough to find Marie … she has such a easy & approachable manor .. understanding & great technique… after 3 treatments my shoulder is so much better & I am having maintenance now every 8 weeks - it’s marvellous & makes me feel so more together … fully recommend her
Was staying in Henley for a few days and decided to get a massage locally. I have had significant problems with my neck and shoulders since start of lockdown. In one treatment session I have far greater movement and flexibility. My body, aches and pains responded positively to the techniques, knowledge and skills that Marie used during treatment. I highly recommend her treatment.
I can confirm that Maria is the best at what she does. After trying to source a specialist who would remedy my back issue for just over a year. I am eternally grateful that she has got my life back to near normal and very soon completely normal. I would recommend that everyone uses her services as she is by far the best out there. The difference in my posture and relief from back pain has been amazing. I honestly highly recommend anyone to try the treatment. As a landscape gardener I always ache but after 3 sessions my back feels so much more free and relaxed.
Maria has a wealth of knowledge, and after many years if suffering with arthritis in my hip, I am now pain free. I have had both Bowen and a deep tissue massage and both treatments were done to an extremely high standard. If you have any aches and pains, Maria will find the cause and treat it with a range of therapies that she is qualified in. Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely fantastic. Have been to Maria a few times now suffering with back pain and sciatic nerve. She has got me back to near normal in a few sessions. She is a miracle worker and very knowledgeable. Would recommend anytime.
