The Guildhall is the meeting place for Totnes town council, and also a small museum on the history of the town. A fine example of a Tudor building that incorporates the old corn exchange pillars as an addition to the building. Tucked away on a cobbled pedestrian lane behind the 13c church it is well worth a visit. The wood panelled interior reeks of the rich history of the town, made all the more evocative as it is still the seat of local decision making.
