Absolute shambles. Contacted council via online form as phones don't get answered , no reply for ages, no emails or letters, went on the websites only to see case have been closed. Closed how by just disregarding it?!You're are literally funded by my and others hard earned money. Do your job at least!
I really wish Teignbridge would take into consideration that we currently have an ongoing postal strike. 3 times now I have received time sensitive mail late because Teignbridge send out mail 2nd class which are being severely delayed & don't send letters via email. I know the strikes are causing the primary issue, but surely it would be a wise move to temporarily adjust to the situation, especially when people need to respond to Teignbridge DC in a certain amount of time.
Some are helpful others just ignore your concern if its not in job remit. Now I'm stuck with a problem!
Had to contact Street Naming department as wanted to add a house name to my address and I was clueless. Sue Harris @street naming was absolutely brilliant. Explained everything clearly and after filling a form which took me 2 minutes and paid the payment - Job done. Thank you for a fast and efficient service :
The lady in the council tax department was very abrupt, couldn't be bothered to let me finish my sentence and kept referring me online...if she had listened she would have known I had checked the website, couldn't find the answer and wanted a person to reaffirm the details for me. Really unhelpful and I've still not got the answer.
Bin collections missed again in Buckland, an average of two collections a month and counting! The men and women that do the hard work on the streets, you have my upmost respect, as for the management maybe replace them with the Wombles or the Teletubbies. I apologise for any spelling mistakes but I'm sure Teignbridge management have plenty of time to spot them while they sit in their warm offices drinking tea and coffee
Terrible council, don't know whether they are coming or going and quite frankly couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery! Staff have no compassion, understanding and in come cases intelligence, My Mother has serious depression and got a nasty letter from the council which has upset her deeply, Needless to say I shall be writing an official letter to the council leader as the staff member in question needs reprimanding!!!
Arrogant staff who assume you will pay before telling you how much you potentially owe. Poor health and safety, no process for incident reporting. Member of public stopped in middle of unload bay, didnt reverse, obstructing. Staff just accept it and helped him unload. Unsafe practice for staff and customers to not enforce own rules or even to take details and report as incident/near miss. Staff also witnessed smoking on site. This is a recycling unit with hazardous and flammable waste. Unfortunately cant say wont return as isnt like there is an abundance of options for residents. Used to be better when not sita.u
Still NOT back on the offices. Unable to have a 1 2 1 meeting, due to the BUG that is going around. It is about time that THE BULL SHOULD HAVE ITS HORNS PULLED Get back into the offices.
Office still shut. Phones dont even ring. Dont reply to emails. If I could give negative stars.....
