I have been a member of the gym for over a year now, even though I am not a consistent member I still pay the £30 a month which is steep for someone who may only go twice a week. Today I visited with someone who wished to sign up but wanted to try the gym out first, we tried to get a free pass off the website but this did not work so we went round to the gym and told them this but for some reason was refused as a 24 hr policy was in place or a £15 guest pass for the one session which was unbelievable. A friend in the past had got the pass on the day which I didn’t think was very fair to be turned away.  I was really surprised as it would of gotten the gym business. Really un-happy with the customer service of the place and will not be staying as a member for much longer.

Been a member 17 years and left due to the rude assistant manager telling my son he couldn’t train with some of the free weights. Seemed to suit them when I was paying a personal trainer £30 per session on the weights he so called wasn’t allowed to use!... very unpleasant and not very professional management. Kids trying to do adults work.

Very disappointed to hear they are reorganising and trying to get rid of the active living classes run by the council. I would have thought they should be encouraging everyone to keep fit not just those people who have deep pockets!
