The majority of the food was good and well presented, however the fish was completely over cooked unfortunately nobody came to ask how things were. The service was slow, inexperienced and pretty non existant for most of the long meal event tho I think we were probably served by 7 different people. Basically trying way to hard and not getting there.
What a beautiful hotel and restaurant. Stunning grounds and views, amazing hospitality and incredible food. Everyone was very pleasant and attentive, took your coats for the lobby, offered pre-dining drinks and small appetisers where available too. It was a wonderful experience and we where both made to feel very welcome. Dining there made out first visit to Scotland very memorable.
Recently organized a small event at the venue and the entire event from start to finish was excellent! The team was on hand to double check settings and the operational side beforehand to ensure that all was as we wanted the event to go. The set up of tables was absolutely beautiful, the the 3 course menu excellent and staff very professional and lovely - we felt well looked after all evening and got great feedback from everyone that attended. Thank you so much for such a lovely evening!
From the moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing in my top 3 meals of all time I can not praise the staff enough. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will come back again. What a wonderful wedding anniversary meal.
We had dinner here on the 17th Dec for my mother's birthday. Every member of the team was so friendly and attentive but not in an over the top way!, food was delicious, great wine list, lovely atmosphere, and they brought out a cute surprise for my mother at the end which was really thoughtful. This was the second time I've been, and I will absolutely be going again and continue to recommend it to friends and anyone who asks!
Best Afternoon Tea I've ever had. Generous portions and absolutely delicious! So happy we found this place, been a while since I've had an innovative Vegan Afternoon tea! Staff wonderful and the drinks venue was varied as well! Cannot be faulted!
If I could say 4.5 I would. A few things were the difference between being 5 stars, mainly with dining issues. We were delighted with the room, very nice. We had a problem being overcharged two nights in a row for drinks. Our first breakfast was unsatisfactory, as one of our orders was wrong and then the eggs were over cooked. We also didn’t receive turn down service the first night. The staff were very good though. Kristine, the hotel manager, was fantastic, professional and efficient. The young dining room manager at least I think he was the manager was very nice and accommodating. The young man Sergio in the restaurant was fantastic, they should make sure to continue to develop him, he’ll be an even greater asset. Bell staff, front desk, service staff, all very personable providing great hospitality. Tighten up the F&B and continue to train the staff. Overall a great experience, we would return when we're in Inverness.
We had the most special of experiences celebrating my friend’s 50th birthday with an Afternoon Tea at Ness Walk. The food and the service were as prestigious as the establishment itself. The staff made us very welcome and were very attentive. A real treat and we cannot wait to come back.
We were greeted personally by the manager on our arrival for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The whole team were extremely professional and the young restaurant staff were very attentive without being intrusive....a difficult balance to achieve. It is a long time since we had such an excellent meal and service. We really wanted to stay but the hotel was fully booked so we will be returning later this year for a couple of days. Quite an expensive dinner but the price is fully justified for the superb experience. Thank you so much.
I was out with a group of friends for afternoon tea. The food and service was exemplary. The choice of teas available on the menu was amazing. All food and drinks were all explained in detail to us by a lovely waitress. Thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. I cannot recommend Ness Walk highly enough.
